I'm not sure the Bible Code makes real sense. I mean, why does it have to be in code? Why can't God just tell us the truth? Why Can't God just explain his universe to us. Why doesn't God just come on the evening news and explain why he created smallpox, cancer and death? He could tell us why everybody that has ever lived has died. Is that due to a design flaw? What's the point of all the mystery? Why is the truth hidden in strange numerical orders? Why is faith necessary to our salvation if reason is programmed into our very nature?
Again, why all the mystery? And don't give me the "you can't understand the great mystery of God; it would be like you trying to explain something complex to your dog" BS. We're all adults here and we're all capable of understanding the universe we find ourselves in.
How adults can believe in talking snakes and world wide floods zombies and the reality of great unexplained mysteries and then turn around and declare the moon landing a hoax is really beyond comprehension!

The Bible quotes are interesting. There is one quote in the new testament from which the entire Christian doctrine seems to unravel into incomprehension. Romans 11:32
"For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all."
This is Augustine's oxymoron. O felix culpa. The joy of sin is the experience of forgiveness. All this begs the question why must mankind be bound up in sin. This quote would indicate it's for the pleasure of God.
Really, don't you think this is senseless?
Like Osiris, Zeus, and a long list of other anthropomorphic deities Christ will eventually fade into the oblivion of history, though not without the toll taken by followers who, because they KNOW, exert the proper force against their fellow human beings.

Lynne, you don't remember seeing 666 in the bible?
Revelation 13:17-18
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
It has also been 616 in some mss.

Nice pate. Funny sh#t. We'd have fun climbing together, bashing Christians and republicans at every pitch. If lightening strikes us down... Might be a sign...
That we shouldn't climb in thunderstorms.

A biblical story that probably does have some foundation. I saw Adam's first meeting with Eve acted out once.
Adam's face was very worried and his concern for Eve's safety was evident as he advised her to stand back. He said, "I don't know how big this thing is going to get!"
