It isn't anything personal. I oppose anyone who opposes equal rights. I would do the same if you opposed equal rights for blacks, Hispanics, women, or ANY other group of PEOPLE.
Blacks have the right to vote. If you start using racial slurs and saying you support them only getting 3/5 of a vote per PERSON, I'd call you out on that too.
My problem is bigots hiding behind fake nameS, spewing hate towards an entire group of people, and not being able to stand behind their words. If you don't like being hated for the sh#t you say, don't say it.

Get it right about the responsibility engendered of what you cherry pick. You have a PHD but you have a need for learning about the difference between what objective and subjective. Just because you don't like the views of the other people doesn't mean their objectivity is dismissible.

Objective: If a person gets to choose the person they marry and legal rights are afforded to the married couple, then all people regardless of race or sex get to choose the person they marry and have the same legal rights afforded to them.

Now that is the crux, right? I'm mixed on Prop 8, but I see yer point! What you have to see is that is shouldn't be Fed, but a State Law as long as is doesn't infringe on the Bill Of Rights, or Constitution.
