Oh those silly Republicans. No-one’s going to be fooled into believing that the Democrats are going to impeach me!
Or will they be fooled? Or is it true that the Democrats will impeach me?
I guess stranger things, like me being elected, have happened. Ok, let’s give it a shot, and explain how we were right about it in retrospect.

Kevin Williams ouster from Atlantic reveals major hypocrisy in conservative media
“The truth about these dysfunctional, downscale communities is that they deserve to die. Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible.”
XCon,
What little I know about Williams sounds mostly pretty bad. But he raises a real issue about struggling communities even if his language is offensive.
I have extended family in a small, farming community. The type that no longer has a grocery store and an ever higher percentage with grey hair.
I can understand why the residents don't want to move away from the home, family and friends they know. Many probably don't have any money to re-locate anyway.
But it is a costly place to run a retirement home. The nearest thing that has any sort of medical services is over a half hour away. There aren't much in the way of jobs except those related to social services and there aren't as many young/middle age people to take them either.
The farming is large scale mechanized. You don't need many farmers now that the tractors drive themselves and the workers tend to commute in from the further, larger towns/cities.
I'm sure the town consumes much more in government services than it pays in taxes. I certainly don't begrudge social services to formerly hard working families that have paid into the system for decades. But maintaining city services such as sewer, water, streets, etc is pricy compared to the number of residents. Bringing in distant emergency responders and ambulances is pricy. Seeing stone buildings that were built 50~100+(?) years ago is kind of neat, but everything is run down and generally depressing. I would guess the opioid addiction has hit hard.
It would be a lot cheaper and more efficient if that "town" relocated in its entirety next to a larger, surrounding town. And as far as morally, I'm not sure I would defend that town either.

.....educated in Sharia law
Sorry Norton, you're not allowed to use the 'e' word when referring to The Trumpster. Plus, we're getting enough Sharia law from the evangelicals....... they just can't seem to understand that what they want to do is exactly that, because 'GOD'. You better start believing their way boy, or you're going to that section of Hell reserved for Infidels. And it ain't pretty; when God gets angry She can be a real bitch.

Lynching map.
"you're fired ... er ... hung "
Good people on both sides.
Get out ur Trump support maps. Not sayin' all Trumpers descended from lynchers, but you do the math.
Republicans said Mr. Trump’s push for withdrawal appeared to have given Mr. Assad the impression that he could again use chemical weapons without fear of a U.S. response.

Michael Avenatti is too good of a catch for the likes of a divorced Melania Trump. He is way out of her league. He wouldn't need her divorce settlement money, and even speaking five foreign languages wouldn't qualify her as an interesting dinner date. Melania had to settle for marrying Donald Trump because she's not good enough for guys like Michael Avenatti.
Don't tell me what cases you've won. Tell me who you've beaten.
This trial was a search for the truth. And the jury found it.
Let's talk about Michael Cohen, what kind of man this is. This is the kind of guy who claimed in connection with that story that there is no such thing as spousal rape. This is a legal genius. Right. Completely false. The guy doesn't even know the law. He's a thug. Your friend is a thug. Thug. Thug. Thug. Thug. Thug. . . . . . . Thug. Thug. Thug. Thug.
Avenatti made the comments to Michael Cohen's attorney, David Schwartz, on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360. Avenatti repeated the word 20 times, counted out on his fingers, to mock Michael Cohen's claim that Stormy Daniels owes him 20 million dollars. Schwartz' retort was, "You know what? You're a thug."
Trump is terrified of the real storm of the Stormy Daniels case, and his name is Michael Avenatti. The best that Trump and Cohen can hope for is to remember to sit on ShamWow towels when Avenatti deposes them.
Los Angeles Times article on Michael Avenatti from a few days ago.
Once you've driven 190 miles per hour in the pouring rain, in the middle of the night, down the Mulsanne Straight with prototype cars whizzing by you at 240-plus miles per hour … compared to that, what I'm doing right now (the Stormy Daniels case) is a warm-up lap.
VVVVVVVVV Trump and Avenatti are a matched set, and perfect as prime-time combatants.

Impeachment does not mean automatic removal.
He needs to be completely out of office. Maybe then the slow process of stain removal can begin.
