Sams Point Presever was once a town attraction known as Ice caves mountain.
I have climbed there both in this modern era and with founders of the movement
to save the Shawanguks. This was in the early 70s, so I was a child & knew nothing
of anything but a fun weekend climbing with them.
The The location of the area that is on fire (?)
On the snap below : on the left, shadowy shapes of buildings,?
Lights on top ..

Downhill racer.
Very good of you to share flames with us, bud. I dolled your shot up a bit.
zBrown, I'd like a Siamese Double Burger with a side of kitty litter and a couple of Jumbo Persian Pitas for my little friends.

Another for the thread deletion list: Jihad.
I'm sorry for the lame way you were greeted, friend.
It was not worthy of us, but you received an apology, so that is that. No need for the unnecessary, as my sainted father said gratuitously.
Approximately six thousand words worth of climbing talk.
Now here's how I worked it, bra.Don't make me repeat that sequence, okay?

In California, freeways get named after people, like the Richard M. Nixon (hwy 90) highway. Since withdrawn.

And the shadow sequence is superb.

Red flower?
You lost me.
You talkin' cotton?
IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE TALKIN' ABOUT?
I do know a guy who said his name was Red Fowler.
He was from Fresno, though, not Fowler, south of there.
He knew nothing for sure about chickens or fowl.
He was a vegetarian.
And he drove an old, old vintage car.
Cannot recall the make or model, but it wasn't this old.At left, at the wheel of a Pierce Arrow is A.W. Fellows, chauffeur for Fresno capitalist M. Theo Kearney, the namesake of Kearney Boulevard and modern-day Kearney Park. The unidentified auto at right was powered by a 2-cylinder air-cooled engine. The woman in the back seat, extreme left, is holding the tiller, a steering lever.

No windshields & a pretty smooth-looking road surface for back then.
Maybe groomed with Fresno scrapers?

You can see red flowers here or
in the where have all the Flowers gone? thread thanx for asking
Mr E. . . I wanted to say Ed but it was Eric of just the maid fame who
Said red flower, as in Eye catch in'? Just a turn of phrase
Me Tinks, or thinks if we are to swayed by conformity. . .
that was not the point ,there was a dull butter knife
In a draw but I took up the Steele and then took it to a grinding wheel.
Now that sucker's sharp.
A butter better, better butter knife
a sharp knife for gnome a known Non-knife carriage unless it is five pitches
Then I do have a knife in my britches, some gorp
is nice - three times the water When it's hot,
and I most always take along some pot.
It is the way I've climbed a lot .
For a time in the 90s I realized, " krikee , I've been high
every time I got high.
So I stopped
I took no bowl or blunt to the cliff for some time like a year.
It made the rip I took from 'imbo's bong when rack in' up the company Van
Not seem so much like work.
then most got.
Do you know

Quarter to five. A long day out in the wide-open, no creatures were stirring except this old mouse.
Ten after five. Time to head for the Lodge to catch the bus back to Middle Earth.

Seeming to like what I've got but still I'm up
Farouked, but Holden so I'm golden.
The new service, xfinity, is smooth not as fast as Frank in some things, mostly
Only complaint is that I was spoiled by the features like seeing what was on a channel
Before I jumped to it, a picture in picture deal
As I was thinking on some now past friends brought on by mention of the Matterhorn.
I want to tell a first ascent tale.
Just as I'm trying to go a certain way, (I liked the start and felt it went in a good/short direction)
this thread pops up
The View from Dead Horse Point (audio)... On the sub standard tablet can't link.
So now I've stopped trying to relate the story I was aiming to tell,
before we were Rudely interrupted, to let pass any influence from that great read,
Then a frustrating buzz kill just before dawn. . . This -wrote a start I liked and
had to figure out this machines> pages save to drafts protocol ( is that what I was looking for?)
I should listen to the wise one and only write on the system
that I'm familiar with,
I'm not sure how to do things with the tablet,
I've never turned off the ,-start every line with a capital letter- feature. I've tried,
I think it holds pages automatically?
The wife always warns me She won't touch a tablet.
I make her watch or read but she doesn't pick it up If we are home.
n to do the routine
Good morning!

ANOTHER ONE TODAY!
Fer gosh sakes, it seems to be gettin' out of control, like a party at donini's Playmates Penthaus.
Some thread titles I've devised...
FINALLY, a solution to that eternal question on climate change (OT).
How to handle unnecessary Climate Change threads.
Climbate Change may increase objective dangers in posting threads about same.
Climate Change threads, lycra or dirtbag?
Climate Change, Thy Name is Plethora.
Hey, buddy, can you spare some climate change?
Climate Change: The Earth needs Pampers, but that Depends on your age, I guess (OT)
Climate Change (VI, 5.13b) in a Day: TR with a single picture but an awesome vid!!!
The pic.The video.[Click to View YouTube Video]
I'm just sayin', climate change is no worse than a sex change operation.
It just gets more ink on the Taco.
