Wow I can't belive that this post has made it's way back to the top and at 600+ post. One thing forsure is that according to the Bible and the signs of the return of Christ is happening so rapidly it is exciting to see. Jesus himself told to be watchful of the signs of the end of the age, and of the Old testament prophets that God used to write it down in his word for us to learn. Things that were predicted before Christ was on the earth are happening, especially in the middle east, with Iran, turkey and the rising power of Russia. It is all in the Bible. It is amazing to see that Christ is so close to return for his Church. And for the ones that reject God, I really feel deep saddness for them. God does not want anybody to perish. Jesus said "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying I am the Christ," and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:4-8 That is where we are now. The beginning of sorrows.
In II Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
In the book of Revelation Jesus said 22-7 "Behold I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book (Bible). and in Verse 12 And behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. Verse 14 Blessed are those who do His commandments,' that they may have have right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city (Heaven). In verse 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murders and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. Those are the ones that will be not be allowed into the kingdom of heaven.
People can and will say. You Christians have been saying Jesus is coming soon for years. Well the Bible says in II Peter 3:8
"But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day.In verse 9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.. In Verse 10. "But the day of the Lord will come as a theif in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will burn up. In verse 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness.
Search the Scriptures in the bible daily to find out whether these things were so Acts 17:11
As a new beliver in Christ I have done just that and putting my faith in Christ and having a relationship with God and experiencing the goodness and the power of God and being filled with the Holy spirit that is a gift that God gives and having my prayers answered and God being truthful to his word, having a relationship with God and understanding his word is incredible... For a non beliver in God it can be hard to understand a person that is a Christain. A person that has a relationship with God, who tries to share with others understands and knows the importance of trying to save ones soul from going to a place called Hell it is extremly important. Especially in the days we are living in. There are so many religions out there that a lot of people are being deceived and to someone who are born again through Christ Jesus see the urgency to reach those that need to know the truth, before it is to late. Religion is not the way. It is Jesus Christ. He is the way. John 14:6 Jesus said "I am the way the truth, and the life; no man comeith to the father (God)but by me.
So when somebody says that they will pray for you, understand that they care for you and that they love you and know what will happen to people who reject God the creator of our existence and this world. Genesis 1:1-31
So be not offended when somebody shares the word of God with you. Be thankful that a stranger that you do not know has a caring heart to share with you the most important thing that you can ever hear. Just know that there is a God and that Christ died on a cross for our sins, have faith in what you can't see and let God show you his love and allow him to have a relationship with you, it is awesome.
Before I end my reply to this important post, I must share this with you. Prayer of Salvation
Father in Heaven
I come to You in the precious name of your son Jesus. I know He died for me on the cross and rose again, that I may have Eternal Life. I ask for forgiveness of my sins. I ask the Holy Spirit to come into my life to guide and direct my life. I commit my life to You. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
The Bible says there are four things a person must know to go to heaven:
1. Realize you are a sinner...Romans 3:23
2. Sinners spend eternity in Hell...Romans 6:23
3. Jesus took your Hell for you...Romans 6:23
4. Recive Him- who He is and what He's done for you... Revelation 3:20

Dr. F, if you would just read some of mi past posts....jesus is Not religion. Just read Matthew slowly and thoughtfully. Jesus was against the established religious hypocrites in his day. He loved the people and spoke forcefully against what he called "whited sepluchers"....religious people that looked good on the outside but were ugly, false and fake on the inside. These frauds were always after the regular people's money and time and devotion to their causes.
