Bruce Morris, yes, yes it was. Until I hung and it pulled out.
Had heard some of Warren's originals were loose way back when. I guess people just kept using them no matter what.

"I'll just lay it back, look at all those bolts. It'll be fine." It was.

Not even close to being a favorite place for me but Oz and the Harding Route on Conness are certainly worth repeating.

Tom and I used to solo Cathedral on his Bday. We would carry day packs full of beer, and herbal remedies. In the second picture we had just passed a roped party, and Tom had stopped to gab with a rather attractive belayer. They were laughing and having a good time, much to the dismay of the leader, who was struggling as we passed by.
When we hit the summit register, someone (Herb or Vern) had left a big fat spliff inside saying whoever got there first should have at it. Timing is everything ;-)

Tuolumne Meadows is still in my top #3 places to climb, free-climbing.
But I haven't been back in recent years. My life soured, and so did the spectacle of dealing with the usual crowds.
Tuolomne will always have reverence in my heart, and I haven't even done some of the really cool shit!
I love the place, just hate the crowds it draws. And I'm not complaining, I don't blame people for checking it out!
Best un-finished climb that I haven't done? "Holiday on Rock", Marmot Dome. Always get stormed off it for some wierd reason. There are some others there too, when the crowds get to be too much.
