Here is a sentence from Trenberths article," Focusing on the wiggles and ignoring the bigger picture of unabated warming is foolhardy, but one promoted by climate change deniers."

Not taken out of context.

The Chief complains about Ed working in the sector that also designs nukes, but neglects to mention that The Chief worked in a sector that is armed by nukes.

To quote The Chief: Oh the hypocrisy of it all!

Modern Science at work.

Figuring out how sh#t works is the science.

Actually doing it is engineering.

Allowing huge corporations to fuk the food supply to make a profit is capitalism.

Science and engineering aren't the problem. Profit motives are.

Those quotes of Trenberths were all from the same statement Ed. If the statement supported your representation of cherry picking you would have posted it. You disappoint me, i like scientists, i have 3 in my family, all my kids have science degrees, but you Ed have misrepresented who you are. You are wholly owned by CAGW as your line of research and application is dependent on the demise of our current energy industry with substitution of "alternative energy" and the "neccessary Skyrocketing" of costs which will be imposed on the working people. Exponentially magnified hypocricy is what you speak,my ignorant self now knows.

Rick boggles me. So does The Chief. I might have a beer with Rick, but if I get within twenty miles of The Chief it will make me feel like I've donated two pints of blood.

Chief, you are quite the leaper to conclusions!

weak my friend

example: you conclude that those on this thread who you just happen to disagree with are employed by tax payer money while in fact only a few here may fit that description

then quite illogically you label them also as unemployed

clever in a high school insult kind of way, but impossible as one cannot be employed at say a partially tax payer supported university and at the same time be unemployed

really Chief, you are starting to lose it here a bit, rest up and come back later....

Chief you and Weschrist both paid into the system while working...should he be denied using unemployment that he paid into while working??

I thought you were concerned about having to pay a carbon tax because your on a fixed income...when you are old and frail would you like the younger generation to take away your pension or social security??

By the way standing at the ready to defend our country and it's freedom of speech and other rights is different than actually going to COMBAT for the country...both are honorable...but which did you do?

If you truly fear living on a fixed income and want to prevent poverty for those who need/use energy maybe YOUR energy would be better spent FIGHTING BIG OIL, Multinational Corporations, and Wall Street than us here on the taco

You really think that after all this time and paperwork, we would have a viable and productive solution to the problem.

God, you really are THAT dumb, aren't you? Those aren't papers on policy or solutions, they are papers on the science of climate change.

Like a fuking brick wall... a short, dumb brick wall.

(for the record, I have never collected unemployment and my total inheritance amounts to $1000 from Grandma 15 years ago. I work for my sh#t, pay into the system, and am glad that single moms and those who fall on hard times have the option to collect unemployment if they need to. And I've been advocating for everyone to PAY THE REAL COST OF PETROLEUM for decades and stop the billion $ bonuses for oil company CEOs.)

Rickles, you don't seem to understand the difference between science and policy.

But, you don't really seem to understand much of anything, so color me surprised.

The same science and no solutions. Over and over and over.

No fuktard, different science to shoot down the idiotic bullshit you so eagerly regurgitate from the oil companies and better understand the potential outcome of our actions.

" All the while the C02 continues to get blown into the atmosphere and things keep getting warmer."

The Chef finally admits it.
And just where is that carbon tax?
