Go, they aren't showing up for me either except for the first one. I bet it has something to do with my company's filtering software.
Yep! When I opened my notebook and connected to the coffee shop's wireless, I can see the pics.

Yes, Phil B, filtering software (or something) also keeps me from seeing most pics on one of my computers. Can't figure out how to turn it off.
Imagine my surprise when I go back to a thread later, and all these pictures appear!
[edit to James Colburn, who said "Some of my fondest memories of Chico are the pot lucks with all the fantastic food and Andy rockin on the acoustic with Mark Wilpolt and Dan Mcglaulphlin. sp?"] -
James, Dan McLaughlin was a buddy of mine from LA, and the only time I spent in Chico was with him after we drove him up there in his old Mustang. Maybe we met at a party or two, 1983/84? What ever happened to Dan? We used to say that the wind would blow a gentle breeze, then when you turned around, Dan would be sitting there with his guitar, looking VERY relaxed, with that sly smile of his.

Missing??...I ain't missing. I posted the best picture of my eye I've ever seen. I sure as hell can't post anymore 'cause I don't want to get whaled-on at some crag by a pack of ST'rs. Sure I could take on 5 or 6...but not like 20.

Great Thread! Encouraging compared to who chopped whose bolts, and the great 911 conspiracies.

Well...the other thing is that I could very well jeopardize my position as mayor of a semi-reputable American city.

No, Donny, don't worry about that.
What happens on ST STAYS on ST.
Plus, you have to be a climber to even view ST. Or something like that.

Donny: post up man! If you was at a crag and a gang of 20 ST'ers was there and started to plan ta start whallin' on ya's and if'n I was there I'd be on your side. Though... since you can only take on six and at best I might take on nine we'd still get whoooped.

Okay, okay...this thread is getting too good and it's been way too many pages since someone posted another picture of crimpergirl. But first, you have to look at me:

WillBill, Dan M. lives in Marin, he's a teacher- I think for the blind. If you want his phone number and address, it will
take me all of five minutes to round it up. He still comes to
Chico quite often -to visit and play music.
ps. Dan, picked up the fiddle a while back, now he's a pretty good player. I love his singing voice.

That's what is great about both the Taco Stand and this thread, hooking people up who haven't seen each other for years.
Thanks to a couple Supertopians, I now have contact details for Claude Fiddler, Jim Keating and David Yerian.
(I really just wanted to bump this thread).

Alright, I guess it's my turn. I was the lucky guy who got to carry down four days worth of deposites from the Nose last spring.

Nita, that would be swell if you can put me in touch with Dan.
Another mutual friend (Dan would know him as 'Longhair') is now in Napa too.
