That's when the Trump supporters will figure it all out, when they lose their social security disability checks.

SeaNsummit, Ok, no more sugar coating.

The uneducated, white voter is like a teenage son transitioning to adulthood. They think they know everything yet they are ill-equipped to deal with the consequences from their propensity of committing sh!tstorms of stupid decisions.
They invariably end up on the living room couch of society and blame everyone but themselves. Take Cosmic for example (literally the human pre-existing condition)- cheering Trump as he moves to eliminate the Pre-existing Condition Clause of Obamacare.

As the adults in the room, we are moving to take control of your life because we know what's best for you and we love you.

Jody is another case- I assume Jody's mysterious second job is installing cat doors, under the table of course. I find that negligent- paying no taxes and without an environmental impact study, putting cats and their owners at risk...sick!

I mean, thank you for so plainly speaking what the left's real agenda is.

you fell for his bait. He posts the most outrageous things to trigger people. Consider yourself triggered. Your bias/bitterness/judgement of the left, causes you to be vulnerable to these kinds of posts.

the far far left wants to control everything. So does the far far right. They just want to control it in different ways and directions.

the middle left and the middle right, which makes up most people, are reasonable people with their own biases that also makes them vulnerable to the extremist on both sides. Being reasonable doesn't necessarily make one right. It just means that they can be reasoned with.

Right now we are dealing with a loss of respect for reason. The reactionary is currently leading the way.

Let things play out instead of hounding it everyday.

Yea. It was a big mistake for the left to have all those protests against the Vietnam War. And why did so many people have NDS (Nixon Derangement Syndrome)?

And don't even get me started about all those uppity civil rights protesters...

They should have all just chilled and waited for everything to turn out roses all on its own.

Sounds like the judge is really giving Mueller's team the works in the Manafort trial.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/08/08/manafort-trial-judge-ts-ellis-taunts-and-torments-mueller-team-tears-in-your-eyes.html

A snippet:
Ellis seemed to suggest a prosecutor was so discouraged he was crying in his courtroom.

“I understand how frustrated you are. In fact, there’s tears in your eyes right now,” Ellis said Monday, according to a Bloomberg-obtained transcript.

When the prosecutor, Greg Andres, denied Ellis’ claim, the judge said, “Well, they’re watery.”

That may be overly harsh on poor Andres, but come on, a seasoned federal prosecutor shouldn't be crying in court just because the judge is holding his feet to the fire.

Most commentators still think Manafort will get convicted as he's guilty as sin, but think if he gets acquitted -- could be such a black eye for Mueller he just picks up his toys and goes home at that point, might take the markets up to a new level.

John M's got it.

That post was actually a charactiture of a liberal, elitist snob, probably wearing the latest in bird watching gear.

I build houses on the coastal strip in Southern California by the book- I know bureaucracy and over regulation like nobody... plus my wife is a redhead.

You guys seriously need to laugh once and a while.

And Brother Summit, I dropped out of high school to work construction so a grammar check or sentence diagram on occasion would be greatly appreciated.

—blahblah

Judge Ellis has been really hard on the prosecutors, which is fine in chambers or sidebar, but when he continually does this in front of the jury it can cause the jury to side against the prosecution.

What was very Ito-ish in its terrible inappropriateness was when Gates testified that, “Mr. Manafort was very good at knowing where the money was and where it was going,” and then Ellis interjected that, “He didn’t know about the money you were stealing, so he didn’t do it that closely,” in front of the jury. Let the defense hurl zingers like that.

I want to post on my favorite number 666

Problem is that every time I look at this thread, posts have moved to different positions on pages or earlier pages because people are constantly deleting posts—so enjoy your 666 post, but by tomorrow it will probably be post 658.

In 2016, Kentucky GOP Senator Rand Paul said that Donald Trump was a "delusional narcissist".

Now, Rand Paul is Trump's errand boy, delivering love notes to Putin during recess.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/08/rand-paul-delivers-trump-letter-to-putin-administration-in-moscow.html

Rand Paul traveled to Russia, ostensibly to improve international relations. This occurred in the context of the nation's intelligence and security forces warning of an existing, ongoing Russian attack on American infrastructure and Russian interference in domestic elections.

Several months ago, an entire contingent of GOP Senators went to Russia to "smooth things over", and assure Russian officials that "bygones are bygones" (i.e., Russia's 2016 election interference in the GOP's favor was highly appreciated).

House Republicans, led by Devin "The Weasel" Nunes, actively subverted and derailed the House Intelligence Committee's investigation into Russian election interference in 2016. Nunes' committee falsely concluded that no Russian interference had occurred in 2016.

The White House's official position is also that there was no election interference; but, that it did occur; but, that it didn't affect the election results; except, that it greatly assisted Crooked Hillary in winning the popular vote.

What is with this plague of Republican traitors? Where did they come from?

And, why are their constituents still standing by them? Is there too much lead in their drinking water, or what?

I saw Trump fans cheering when he said that he "got along great with Putin". Who are these people? And why are they cheering on America's attackers?

I could stand in the middle of the Oval Office, and sell the country out to the Russians, and I wouldn't lose any voters.
