Of all the people who deserve the big THANK YOU, Fritz leads the pack along with Wayno for both of their efforts in making this get-together a roaring success!

It's always nice to put a real face in mind while reading/posting on Super Topo. Can't wait for Mouse to begin posting his photos over the weekend.

12 hour drive without too much drama. COR is great, but I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed.

I'm currently sitting on Wayno's porch after a 13 hour road stretch yesterday. Cor was amazing but way too short. Next year i'm getting a site for the weekend after! ;)

I have *LOTS* of pics. Here's what i've had a chance to sort through so far.

Our site was really cool. Directly below the Twin Sisters and our own personal crag/sun shade.

Wayno checking it out.

After we wandered over to group camp where I saw some meese and mice who were hanging out with a dude who was hardly visible?

On my way to the facilities i noticed this cactus flower

The ghostly apparition wasted no time in asking if i would like to ascend some rocks? To which i quickly replied "YES!" :)

We made our way to Morning Glory Spire

Hardly Visible racking up

HV getting after it on Incisor Chimney 5.8

HV on a scenic rappel with Inner City in the background.

The sun setting over Twin Sisters Group Camp

Spider goofing around on the camp lip problem.

More pics soon! Gotta make it home first! Lol

Yeah, Greg. Earned some Taco street-cred by hanging out with some of us "old-guys". Super-cool to meet you. Keep the stoke alive.

Super fun road trip. A huge thanks to Fritz & Heidi for hosting. Wayno is an awesome chef and a damn fine person. Thanks to Donini for the energy. So many great people, so fun to meet; Phylp, Emknot, Tackle & Family, Mouse, Moose, BigMike, HV, Grippa, Mark Mason, Brokedown, and many more. If you weren't here, we talked about you, good things only.
Fortunately Zion is the perfect mid-point between COR & LA. Thanks to Grippa for the tips on where to eat and sleep. He's a local.

Heidi & I didn't take a lot of photos, but I thought these might be fun.

Grippa, Scoped out the BLM site but winds were high. Nice place. Got a cheap but very clean room at the Zion Park Motel.

Sorry about that Mike. Fixed now.

That was some serious good rum that Gordon cooked up.

Re: Big Mike's photo of me.
Gin makes me want to climb. NOW.

I had to resurrect my older computer in order to get pictures to upload in the correct orientation (portrait vs. landscape).

Here's Spider leading Twilight on Upper Breadloaves Decadent Wall.

What an awesome crew! Lots of people offered assistance with the food prep, but Mark Mason was my go-to guy. Thanks, Mark for the cooking gear and your help.

I would have loved to go climbing but my feet were still too sensitive to even try. Next time. The scenery at COR is so special that it was just great to hang out and ponder the passage of time and people.

Fritz and Heidi were awesome hosts and their friends are some of the coolest people around. Everyone I met was genuinely interesting. This is an event that will surely be on my calender next year.

Thank you one and all for making it a worthy adventure.

Kim Miller & his son Joe stopped by late on Thursday during the deluge. He brought a bunch of Cinnamon rolls for a desert treat for us. Unfortunately he didn't stay for long, since conditions were so windy & wet and I didn't even take a photo.

Much thanks Kim! http://www.supertopo.com/climbers-forum/1016283/Kim-Miller-appreciation-thread

More photos:

I do need to report that, although he wasn't one of our group, an unfortunate fatality occurred in camp on Thursday morning. Timmy, one of the most likable of the Golden Mantled Ground Squirrels that swarmed our camp, fell into our 5 gallon wash-water bucket and drowned.

Mark and I discovered the little fellow, and I fished him out, but it appeared that even mouth to squirrel-lip resuscitation would not save him. A “Sky-burial” ceremony was performed.

R.I.P. Timmy.
