Honestly, the science deniers are a sideshow...good for a couple of laughs, but nobody takes them seriously. Clowns, really.

because they prove you wrong and that pisses you off?
How can that be. I have nothing to prove wrong. I am not a theory nor hypothesis. Like the collected HadCrut global temperatures, I am real. Not a model that attempts to predict the future and has yet to be anywhere close to accurate. Consistently having to be corrected in order to appear viable. What was that you stated about politicians and BS?

That sad weather event has absolutely nothing to do with Climate Change. Do not even try to claim it was.
No one knows whether tornadoes have increased in number or intensity, since the aforementioned changes in reporting practices "make the intensity question harder to answer,'' Brooks said, adding, "If you take the data set of reports at face value, it appears intensity has decreased over the years, but there are a number of things that have led to lower ratings for the strongest tornadoes.''

Your fellow climate scientist say it isn't.

Knots---I never posted any tornado claim--I did post a link in how the numbers were increasing AND I posted a link that provided analysis to why/how the dataset could be misinterpreted---I did this to show that even though I believe the climate is changing due to humans burning fossil fuels--we also take into account science that doesn't agree with our hypothesis...that is what intelligent adults do--look at the facts and try to understand them as it relates to the hypothesis or decisions that affect their lives.
Do you ever look at evidence that is contrary to your thinking and then change your mind based on FACTS????
Somehow I think the answer is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

With tornadoes, what we don't know is as much as what we do know,'' said Michael Wehner, a scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Global warming is making wet places wetter and dry places drier, and creating moisture-laden air that fuels hurricanes and snowstorms, making them much worse than they otherwise would be in a climate unchanged by human behaviors.
But we can't necessarily say the same the same about tornadoes, at least not yet
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/18/climate-change-tornado-intensity_n_3300098.html?ref=topbar
But you alarmist will believe what you want to believe and do all you can to promote your fantasy. Next thing on your agenda, earthquakes and volcanoes.
Mountainlion, is it safe to assume someone else is posting for you.
even though I grew up in tornado alley we have seen more tornadoes in the last decade than most of my life combined.

Mchale's Navy here is what I posted in regards to tornadoes that Knot is referencing:
Blah Blah here is a link to a site devoted to tornado data. The link I'm listing illustrates the month with the most tornadoes on record and the year it occurred to make a "perfect year of tornadoes". It is alarming that only one month is listed prior to 1990 and that month is in the year 1976 (all of the other months are after 1990 and most are in the 2000-2012 years).
Next up for me to research will be drought records...
here is the link for tornado data:
http://www.ustornadoes.com/2013/03/11/the-perfect-tornado-year/
Edt: I continued to do some research and found this link that also provides some evidence and commentary about data sets and data set analysis explaining why there are more tornadoes being documented now than in the past (this is an example of those of us who believe we can/need to do something about the climate actually giving the deniers a bone by stating why the numbers can be skewed).

Climate Change means weather changes/weather anomalies/more intense weather incidents/ warming in some areas/ cooling in other areas
Then I suggest you purchase a coat and hire some young Egyptian girls to fan you. Weather has been changing for billions of years. But one that sits in an office for 14-20 hours per day would not notice nor experience the realities that occur. More importantly, those realities that have. Your alarmist screaming voice is astonishing Mr. DrF. You most certainly should consider changing your avatar to Cryingwolf. Seriously.
edit.

I asked how high the number must go before it makes an impact
More children died globally due to starvation and malnutrtion (not associated with GCC atal) today than all the Amerikans died the last ten years in tornadoes. You state nothing of that. Your priorities are skewed. Sad.

Knott or The Chief I guess you can't see the forest because of the trees...deaths have decreased because we actually have a TORNADO WARNING SYSTEM---that you guessed it---based on SCIENCE :0
to use your phrase "oh the horror" that we have seen in Oklahoma City today...I hope that some of the people can be saved in the destruction and feel for the people with nowhere to go
if you really are worth 250 mil Rick I hope you open your heart to these people even if you won't open your mind up to us.

Right on cue. Deflect and then of course discredit any non-conformist. No "the Chief" here. Simply another independent thinker that appears to have the same "opinion" as this Mr. The Chief, blah blah, Mr. Sumner etal. Hard to fathom that isn't it. Please do continue. Humor us. At a minimum, you are consistent. Oh the horror.
Edit.
Mr. Mountainlion.
Warning system? Sad. Appears the system did not work today nor the other evening in Texas. All the children in the elem school stayed put as did all those in their homes. You would think that after all these decades, science would device structures that will withstand and protect. Not just keep researching to see if it is GCC that is causing more tornadoes to promote their theory.
