Got it covered Ron. JRIG and platoon are already training with the mini 14's. Dug in deeper than ticks on a dog. It would take tactical nukes to dislodge us from hidey holes more secure and numerous than Osama's Afghan ratholes.
Hey JRIG, did you get Yvonne's desert flower card yet?

Mad-duck & Ron. I've spent the last 25 years as an outdoor gear sales representative selling gear & clothing from various small companies in the Northern Rockies. The most stable company I’ve worked for, makes water-filters for outdoor use, emergency & survival preparedness, since the 1930’s, and has also expanded to lightweight stoves & freeze-dried foods for the same markets.
I have had the joy of working with a lot of wonderful outdoor retailers, including stores that sell hunting gear, and the misery of working with various paranoid survivalists who somehow managed to convince my employers that they were legitimate retailers.
I’ve been in their paranoid survivalist stores & homes, talked with the paranoids, and sympathized with them, and I do now need to share that I don’t miss working with them, since I’ve retired.
Those of you that live in anti-government paranoia & fear every day in every way, are seriously disturbed.

edit: Here is some factoids, did you know that in 2008 there were only 149 known militias across the country? ANd do you know that there are now over 1400 recognized militias, and another 1000 or so unknowns? And some of them are huge. I wonder why so many seem to think the govt has turned into that tyrannical monster the Forefathers of our nation warned us about? Gee 2008 was the watershed moment eh. Since the degradations of American Civil Liberties really went ballistic during the 8 year reign of GWBush and nary a peep from the right wing extremists then about atrocities like the Department of Homeland Offense and the Patriot Act I'm wondering what changed in 2008?

I'm glad that GOD invented America.
Do you ever wonder if the reason god never shows its face is because it's ashamed of what it created?

Referring to god as it's is cool. The Greeks were probably closer with their's but best of all is 0.

Considering the well established fact that the U.S. military has held many war games and training excercies on American Soil for generations -training for any number of diverse scenarios they may encounter- why is it so hard to imagine that's all that is going on?
Would it be preferable if they held these excercises somewhere overseas where it would cost ten times more and be susceptible to being spied on by enemies intent on discovering tactics, strategies and technologies?

People from many states came to stand in the way of tyranny
Right behind the women and children they stood tall.

Spec Ops on Camp Pendleton has been known to come across the harbor in Oceanside and play games on the south side of the jetty. I have had them set off a flash bang next to my truck while I was sleeping in the parking lot (camping is allowed there in the winter). No announcement yet of the impending takeover of the local Walmart.

Just fuking with the other participants here John.
Gotta have some entertainment. That's why Ron put this shetfest of a thread route up....I presume
Thanks I'll pass that on to Yvonne. When she gets a few more done we might do some professional repro's and market them as gift cards.

And maybe, just maybe the Feds bought up all the hollow point ammo to keep it out of the hands of the thousands of militant groups that have exploded on to the scene since Toby / Kunta Kentie went to Washington and took up residence in the Maison Blanche seven years ago.

Now why would a law abiding gun owner want billions of hollow point rounds returned to open market? Hollow points are not meant for hunting (unless it's a charging rhino). And they seem unnecessarily pricey for target shooting. So why want them back? Hollow points are meant for manslaughter and murder not sport. Where in the 2nd Amendment does it cover possession of bullets meant to maximize damage to a human body? Can Joe NRA readily purchase armor piercing shells? What about depleted uranium rounds? Are there any limits?
