We made it to Salem. We were going to camp at Smith tonight, but it was pissing and we opted for a room at the Red Lion instead . :)

Welcome ( almost ) to California. You are going to Love Joshua Tree. What a great place. I hope you get to climb. Watch your finger tips if you do climb. Everyone wears out their tips on their first day. Then they suffer. haha..
