So what did Weld_it get? He's a decent young fellow, but somehow I can't see him resisting the temptation of opening his box before time.

Susan's bomb-sniffing polar bear is quite cool.

Mine was mailed back on the 13th (if I remember correctly) and was only going a few states away yet I see no mention of a package received that sounds like mine. Little worried...

not my photo . I did not take this. whine, whine, whine...

johntp,
No problem,
I'll only use my fireplace on the first and third weeks in January!
Meanwhile, I haven't opened the box I do have yet. The cat was checking it out pretty closely though.

Cheers,
Z

my giftee should hear from santa presently.

Which is better than I'll do, as I'm a thousand miles away from where I thought I would be at Christmas, and won't get to check until well into the nest year...

hey there all... so wonderful to see the give-and-take of the words between all, as we share...

say, aric (spelling?--will check)... well, you knowwwwwwwww...
some folks say that hot peppers are good to make you feel well, when sick, so you may have a double blessing by opening that early, ;)

also, zander, wow, your tree decor theme, seems similar to mine.. very nice looking.... love the kitty-cat ambiance there, ;))

say, lolli!!! did not mean to give in early and open, :))
but my grandkids waited so well all week, and they won't be here tonight, so we opened it and LOVED it...
the extra piece did not come yet, but not to worry, we are sure it will...

and, i just got a phone call last night, so i will be going to their house for the eve, and they will help with the gas money, so i can come back on sunday, too!!! *they alway have a party there and supper...

i have to go back and forth, due to animal chores and care for them, here, so i thought i would be alone to night...
wow, so now i can enjoy grandkids for two MORE extra days, :))

wonderful christmas season overflow, here, :))

here is the picture of our secret santa fun--yes, it IS secret, as we really do not know WHO it is, 'til it comes (if at all) and that secret time, still makes it a sweet surprise:

thank you soooooooooooo very sweetly lolli! i know have a peice of sweden!
and a piece of your creative-ideas, :)

will also post a pic when i can light it up...
:)

*just lit up the red-candle centerpiece, last night, too, folks...

lights seem to be lighting the way, for me to see that i have a new trail
this year, after my settling into this new place, :)

happy sweet merry christmas to you all...
love seeing all the gifts here and the thoughts put into it..
thank you STRIDER for your thoughtfulness to do this...

Again - great stuff.

I want to make a plea for my Secret Santa to reveal herself. The name is so familiar - I think I should know who the associated taco name is, but I just can't do it. If I were smart, I would have saved her address to send a hard-copy thank you, but I'm not that smart. :/

So, again, I thank you here on the taco Kristin Moore. Love the gifts!

Thanks, Lynne. I'm glad it's a good fit. I've only been doing it for a couple of months, so I don't know how to do anything fancy. I hope they aren't too gratuitously girly.

I snapped a couple pics with my phone before sending:

hey there say, melissa! wow, great job... i knit too, and i am not the 'neatest' at it... those are very nice!!!

hard stuff, knitting, as, one dropped stitch and it all falls apart, :))

also, with small knitting needels, it seems to take forever... i always ditch-out and then choose the large needles, so you SURELY did a wonderful job...

*lynne, say, i have terrible troubles trying to post pictures here...
have to go through TWO rounds of 'hit for upload' (one, being the permission thing) (and the first, being for the picture file)...
then, if dial up is not happy, i have to redo it about 5 times, so you ARE NOT ALONE in this hard picture post stuff...

also, the smaller you make the pictures, the more it helps...
for your laptop, most likely, and for the speed in the dial up, stuff...

That it does, Neebee. Hot sauce or horseradish for congestion, pickled ginger for nausea... Amazing how well they work. And yup, Aric with an 'a'. Apparently on old Teutonic spelling that my parents took a liking to.

My parents told me that if they didn't choose to name me Brandon, I would've been named Aric.

Merry Christmas!

EDIT; I'm opening my present when I get up tomorrow. Pictures will ensue.

Double Edit; hopefully that doesn't come off as rude or demeaning, adatesman, not my intention.

Seriously, Brandon? I've seen the spelling used but never actually ran across someone who used it. Cool!

@Susan- if you don't mind me asking, whereabouts in PA? I grew up just south of Allentown and am now outside Philly, but have spent a bit of time in Pittsburgh and Williamsport as well.
