Off the dirt road on the left just before the switchback where the fireroad heads North. It is on a boulder behind the 30' high triangular boulder with a right to left leaning crack on the side that faces the paved road down in the gully below Seminar wall.
Sorry but a little blurry.

Rick would know if he or lydia did it. I remember when Lydia was trying to get a first ascent there and the both of them were spending time in that area. I know where you are talking about. The mountain bike trail goes up that fire road and makes a right turn north. There is a trail that heads west at the turn.

If it is a F.A. Congrat's!!

Yeah Gary, sunset last night was spectacular. I was helping with dinner, and bailed to watch it develop, pretty to say the least. You going up to Woodson today? Henny is going, I won't be able to make it, some other stuff has come up I have to tend to. Have fun if you go and keep this thread going, it's gonna be a great time in March!

I WAS goin but things came up as well as I am in Vegas as I write this stopping for lunch, pick up sister from airport then down to Golden Valley AZ to spend time with my Dad, Bro and Sisters till Wed. I'm pretty ripped from bouldering and need the days off to heal, especcially my toe! I'll be back on Wednesday.

It was good to see Hensel today. Damn, that old man can still crank it out. It's been 14 years since I last climbed. All I did was climb the 10.a and 5.7 on tower 2. hahaha Even those climbs felt hard!

Wow, I'm not worthy! I've always thought of soloing Hard As Nails but never committed. Now Henny solos it on-sight?! Impressive! What a great route though to hear of such an ascent. I call it 11b only for the starting sequence. Good job guys and great pictures!

Fun day, it was good to see old friends again for the first time in about 15 years. It ended up almost perfect late in the afternoon. Nice temps, almost too good to be true.

Nice pictures of Chas stylin' the Uncertainty Principle. I like that first one. It's cool how that one picture brings out the holds so well, you can pick out quite a bit of both Uncertainty Principle and Kurtains. Man those things are great! Wish we could see that (sand) 11c (bag) to the left so we could get it wired from the comfort of our armchairs.

I think it used to be rated 5.11c
Why is it that any time I can do something everybody immediately downrates it? Bummer.

I can't believe I never went down there before. What an absolutely beautiful thin crack Hard as Nails is.

Henny, I think that sand 11c-12b bag has only had a couple ascents.
After you raced up Kurtins for certin, I thought for sure you were going to give it a go.
I forgot to add your biggest coup of the day! You soloing that wicked hard face on tower 2 so I could get a top rope! Thanks!!

Remember Headfirst In the Bushes? Johnny did a public service and chopped the base of that baby out again. It had become an overgown nightmare. You wouldn't have needed to worry about ending up in the bushes because you never would have been able to get through the bushes to try it in the first place.

Has that boulder grown and doubled in height over the years or something? What's up with that? Or maybe my memory has shrunk over the years, who knows.

Edit: Oh yeah, the base of Greg's Face has also been opened up again, so that's now ready and waiting for the shindig.
