Why does Moose and Mouse on a road trip make me think of Thelma and Louise?

I remember some fairly solid rock at Salmon Hole...I led this one route, could have been a FA. As I recall, it started with an easy bit to a ledge then up a corner to a awkward bomb bay chimney. I would love to go look at it again...its been 40 plus years. There was another wall further east that we protected with knifeblades. Spooky as I recall. Good buildering at the campus too.
Almost ate it on the approach to the base of Bald Rock dome...slipped on some gravel, took the slide of death on some slabs only to be stopped at the brink by a solution pocket the exact size of my butt. Broke my back from the impact ( as I found out many years later when getting an xray) I was very sore for quite a while but fitness and youth kept me in traction till it healed.

a huge top priority, and love and hugs grew so sweet within us, to
make up for MANY MANY lost years, as, i live so far away...
just wish my daddy would have been here, still, to see and embrace all this...
also, praying for the bike to be ready for you, when you get back...

I lived in Harpo once, but I developed an attitude and moved to Groucho. Don't get me to talkin' about Gummo, but I've heard a little about the topic.

You think I protest? Too much! I hate war.
Boomer lived to cut his wedding cake, as did his best man, Nick Ecounomo, both shown here with Bobbye and her new sister-in-law, my Aunt Dorathy, the bridesmaid.
But there is a very unpopular side of the First War, The GREAT WAR, The War to End War. It may not get much play with all the jingoistic hoopla.
There are always protests no matter the conflict. What is war without protest? I'll leave that up to you. I'm just the reporter. You could try me for something, like having sense.
Our management insists that this go into this report, so here. Have a nice day, one free of controversy, and go do some random kindnesses.

Oh, Wow!Gasp!Awesome!You missed that one!
Man, this was a lot of fun! Last year I was at the pull-out halfways up the hill from Coulterville with the Rev watching fireworks at Don Pedro Reservoir. I've learned a lot since then.
Flames Games. Hope you all enjoyed the show...

[Click to View YouTube Video]THE CONFESSOR
If you try to see the meaning hidden underneath the measure of the depth can be deceiving
The bottom has a rocky reputation
You can feel it in the distance the deeper down you stare
From up above it's hard to see, but you know when you're there
On the bottom words are shallow - on the surface talk is cheap
You can only judge the distance by the company you keep
In the eyes of the Confessor
In the eyes of the Confessor there's no place you can hide
You can't hide from the eyes
Don't you even try
In the eyes of the Confessor you can't tell a lie
You cannot tell a lie
Strip you down to size
Naked as the day that you were born
Naked as the day that you were born
Take all the trauma, drama, karma, guilt, and doubt, and shame
"What if's" and "if only's"; the shackles and the chains
Violence and agression; the pettiness and scorn
The jealousy and hatred; the tempest and discord
And give it up!

What is the “John gesture”? Picknett & Prince identified that da Vinci in his paintings often depicted certain people as raising their right index finger skywards.
See my thumb? Gee, you're dumb!

This symbolic gesture was pointed out by Rodger, the Brokedownclimber and raconteur.Hot stuff, BDC!
See you later at Facelift.

I am an auteur, MooseMon! And if I'd written this book, I'd dedicate it to you, "old butty."
Yer gonna die...
from the suspense!
At first it seemed like just another emergency case—hideous but routine—in the life of the smalll-town hospital. But the ancient Chouinard #7 Stopper in this victim’s butt was only the beginning...
The hospital staff fought to save the young climber’s anal integrity and not damage him with the nut tool, and old Doc Bircheff was their only hope for this chock was chock-full of radiation! But where had he gone?
Somewhere in the hospital another man was ready to kill, bolt, chip or French free if he had to. He was desperate, shall we say, to keep the injured climber from talking.
And the NPS, the Fish and Game, the FBI, not to mention the Inyo County Mounties, are helpless to stop what they can’t understand...
Will the peripatetic Doc be located in time and has he REALLY got the skills needed? Or has his whole life been a sham?
You won’t rest until he does.
And he never rests...
BUTTY:
Welsh term for a friend or a pal. Used mainly in the Valleys by working class.
Alright butty, where u off en?

When the deep purple falls...
...over sleepy garden walls...
...andthe stars begin to twinkle in the sky...
...in the mist of a memory you wander back to me......breathing my name with a sigh.
I'd like to say Happy Birthday to my Liz.
It was on July 6.
Miss you, Mrs.
