Yes time, time, time is on my side, yes it is
Time, time, time is on my side, yes it is
Oh, time, time, time is on my side, yes it is
I said, time, time, time is on my side, yes it is
Oh, time, time, time is on my side

I spoke to my sis , a rare occurrence and Im not inclined to do so again for a spell,
that reminds me How does one spell AWESPIOUS no. . . . ? auspices? no . . . .auspicious !! Ha thats it!?
( well, I was, gonna get all over it. With the ways that I had searched for the spelling of "a note worthy event" or another simple definition ),
( but now , never mind...)
From when I used to crash at her place when out on that stroll from north to south,
The sis will forever see me Like this
If you look real close you'll see "I" used the family Honey bear ....
they don't work all that well for that
but it is a statement when beg-in' couch space from big sis,
to use the family sweetness so...
but hay I was only able to get mexican industrial
so it needed treatment and flavor

Wowandsh#t, John.
That was nice of you.
Thank you, mon!
It's tough to rhyme the word "Merced."
At least that's what Old Ben Hur said.

Crhyme to go to Work
He hides more away
Than the busiest squirrel
Saving all of his nuts
'Till they're tough as a burl
She works twice as hard
As the eagerest beaver
Her work so dammed hard
That I always believe 'er
I paddle to work
Enjoying the water
I work half as hard
'Cause I think that I otter

Who can't use a vacation, time to time?
Just to get away from the vocation of rhyme?
Maybe in some more favorable clime?
Slurping Margaritas and sucking a lime?
Cuz, brother, work sucks!
Topography sucks, too, when it's dark and you need to get down off that climb and make sure you clock in for work the next morning.

Cowboy Larry and I climbed the S Face of Washington Column in record time (for us it was a record and our first Grade Five) in '73. He needed to be at the plumbing shop in Yosemite Village at eight a.m. At around midnight he and I were at that nasty spot in the North Dome gully where the trail just seems to vanish, especially in the dark, and our flashlights were pretty poor shedders of light.
There is a wide slab and the trail goes up and over its top, but we didn't know or remember (we'd been on Royal Arches and used the descent before). He decided that the obvious thing (to him, but not to me!) was to do a pendulum...and the air turned bluish with the harsh language from the sharp end!
That pendulum went poorly, as he ended up with a sprained ankle which, of course, delayed our arrival at the Indian Caves. He made it in to work on time, but at too great a cost, if you ask me. But he had to protect his job, his "rice bowl."
Yep. Work sucks.
Very nice poem, though, Bushy One.
Your tongue is in the groove
And it's always on the move.

Took these this morning.
Enhancement to eliminate buildings in foreground led to experimenting. Those are all of Shuteye Ridge & environs.
This is of the Clark Range north of there.
Decker was up to the Valley on the VIA bus and rode his bike around. It was a perfecto day, high 70s/low 80s, poppies galore in the Merced Canyon, and the water is high in the river.
He wanted to know the name of the sheet of water on Royal Arches and I told him I didn't know. He said it was going full tilt. Much of the snow is gone on the floor of the valley, and appears only in the dark shadowy area behind Curry Village or whatever the heck they're calling it now.

Associations
There was a time
Once in my life
All the good times they
Happened in May
Letting air out of tires
Of rich people's cars
Until it got old
But never as old
As Mabel McGill
And her ninety year itch
And her pie full of worms
With a home in the valley
Or the Pulitzer Prize
For the man with no face
And a plaster stallion
In his front yard
For the people to covet
But no one that I knew
Ever cared or took notice
For those in our world
The one half percent
Who never ate grapes
Or drank of their fluids
Unless they were gratis
Like the type on a page
Or the book with no cover
About back in a time
There was no tomorrow
When we never changed diapers
Or threw away change
In the youth of our days

Gooood morning!
Awake! Awake! The dawn is clear.
The sky is full of atmosphere.
The clouds have parted
And I have farted.
Don't be too mad.
It wasn't that bad.
Bushman's done worse
With his silly verse.
Cloudy to the east, but clearing off.
To the south, it appears the same.
Our high here is expected to get to 82.
From yesterday.Yet I don't feel deserted.
Thank you all, Tacoites, for being so concerned about my health. I'm bringing my abs back by using isometrics. I'm able to walk much further now than six months ago, but have learned to try to pace myself more.
I hope this upswing continues...maybe I can get in some climbing this season, in spite of the hernia. And my legs aren't swollen, so my feet actually fit into my old resoled Fires!
And don't fart in the chimney!

Nice shots, DMT, butt and all.
My burning question, DMT, is:
"Is she or is she not wearing high-performance underwear?"
Boxers or panties?
(JUST KIDDING, of course!)
At least she's not wearing Lycra Spandex.
Or, if she's got on panties, are they cotton or a blend?
It's great that you have a fairly reliable climbing partner.
I'm looking forward to making her acquaintance - and yours - in the future.
Berg heil with the both of you! :0)
Now for my lunch of potatoes. I'm trying out a new diet starting yesterday based on my viewing of The Martian last month at Decker's place. But I don't plan on using ketchup to dress them up. That shit's killer with all the sugar and salt.
Plain baked taters with the skins peeled today. I'd probably leave the skins, normally, but these are a little old and cheap and have that rough, gnarly texture, like a layer of old paint that won't come off without using a knife to pry the little fraying edges of tater skin back so it will peel off.
I'm a real Spartan, here. I think it's about time for my half-marathon training run. That should kill about an hour.
But first, I gotta listen to some inspiration, something to make me feel challenged.

Flower Power
Flower power never dour
When it's used upon the hour
Tried to sack a sack of flour
Even still I couldn't wow 'er
Then I played some Robin Trower
While the orchids took a shower
Turned the tv to Matt Lauer
But he turned my stomach sour
Rarely one to turn and cower
Still I felt the need to glower
Time to use more firepower
Climbing to the tallest tower
A whole horizon I would scour
And all the world I would endow 'er
A fusillade of flower power
Likening to Eisenhower
Dominating o'er the bower
Routing an enormous power
But what would I care to devour
Lest thou thinkest I should cower
Retreating to my cauliflower

Master photos , DMT, I have a favorite but they are all great.
Real rock climbing, excellent. The harness & the rack, the tools of the trade
,mold of the trad. . .
Only the tope gun knows for sure!
You gotta admit, a good view, nice climb too.;)
(A real Gunks tip, get the CCK snap-shot before the thing gets anymore polished)
.((Ring Wraith is likely 5.11@#2oLD))read, &87?@, in coming, what's not allow we D
Sometimes random . . . .. , occupancies of the most remarkable coincidence
I get to hear theses new for me sounds, music I've never heard. Sometimes they both fit the moment personally & in the antithesis of my life choices.
For Me they stand ' touched with a western feel but from a northerner.
For a southern girl, with that country swing,
a tribute to a fabulous life force, one of energy and love
Still. with us now. And we celebrate that Now
