Dick Cate, before Cate dicks you.

1970s high school restroom wall graffiti.
True.
Not "fake news".

Coach Richard "Dick" Cate led the Broncos to a CIF championship.

It was a high point, at the time.

Nice.

The Latest:

An indicted Trump campaign official admits he conspired to commit felony crimes.

The intent, of said criminal, was to pervert the electoral process, to ensure that Trump was elected.

It would be nice, but a president’s words matter, so we are stuck. It’s a no win situation. Unlike certain trolls here who you can easily tune out, you can’t really tune out the President.

Sounds like Gates could get 6 years on a plea bargain so what would Manafort end up with...?

Seems like Manafort's best bet is to keep his mouth shut on Trump and hope for a pardon; I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up doing a lot less time than Gates.
(That's assuming he's convicted; the judge's repeated embarrassing take downs of Mueller's lawyers might give him some hope, but the experts' view is that he's basically guilty as can be, it's very close to an open-and-shut case. Of course what he's on trial for has no obvious connection to Trump or the campaign, just garden variety tax fraud and related financial crimes.)

Quiet... you!!!

As far as Trump goes, guilt by association is just as damning as if Trump rigged the election himself.

Move along.

Sold by Ivanka?

Down from $9 to $6, but still too pricey for skeet shooting

I ain't gonna put it here but there are actual trump targets

AND

Gates got a few hundred thousand of Manafort's dirty money, but that's chump change to Wilbur Ross

Alexander pulled no punches in summarizing his findings, concluding: "If even half of the accusations are legitimate, the current United States secretary of commerce could rank among the biggest grifters in American history."

Well they so-called fake news got it wrong about Hillary in 2016,

nope, polling showed her with an approximate 2% lead 10 days before the election

which is what she won the popular vote by, 3 million votes

just not in the right counties involving only 78k votes in four states

Manafort's second trial is likely to have more connections to the 2016 election. Mueller is extracting the juice in a very deliberate and controlled fashion.

Mueller is not just investigating interference by Russia. Trump stuck his tiny accomplice into many countries in that region. Ukraine and Azerbaijan are just two other countries that fed Trump's money addiction. Manafort was not some random, out of work political hack. None of this was an accident.

Paul Manafort and Roger Stone basically invented the dirty lobbying industry in the 1980s. Lee Atwater was one of their partners at Black, Manafort and Stone. Trump has known Manafort and Stone since at least the early 1990s, when he hired them to smear Native Americans that competed with his Atlantic City casinos.

When Trump says that he barely knows Paul Manafort, he's lying. Duh.

It is instructive to note that Ivana and Melania are from Communist countries. Trump, for some reason, is enchanted by Soviet mythology.

That is why is is Putin's puto, and why he wants to cuddle with Kim Jong-Un.

No need to impeach Nixon, he resigned in discrace.

Hopefully the treasonous, criminal, misogynist and racist sh*t stain that is the tRump presidency will be cleansed the same way.

Re: Possible pardons

My guess is he will wait until after the Nov elections at a minimum.

10 months ago Newsweek wrote:
While Trump's pardon of the two men could easily be issued, the situation would be so controversial—a sitting president pardoning his own campaign workers—that intense pushback would be inevitable.

The only limit on the president’s pardoning power is that he cannot issue pardons for matters related to his potential impeachment. Since Mueller is still digging into the Trump campaign’s suspected Russia ties, a pardon could set off immediate alarm bells with Congress, which could begin impeachment proceedings to thwart Trump. That’s to say nothing of the legal challenges a Trump pardon would certainly set off.

The president has the ability to pardon federal offenses, but not state charges. Mueller’s indictment ties Manafort and Gates’ money trail to lavish purchases in New York, Florida, California, Virginia and South Carolina. The attorneys general in any of the those states could continue pursuing Manafort and Gates on local charges even if Trump got his way with a pardon.

That's a strange way to look at it: they're both from countries that were subjected to forced Soviet "communism" of sorts following WWII, got rid of them as quickly as they could (which was not quick, the Soviets were pretty strong, obviously), not much help from the US.
