Malemute, Yes, indeed.
The great bulk of folks who supported Trump in hopes of relieving their suffering get nothing in return except for perverse pride in having stuck it to the politicians that have played them in the past.

Check out this 'survey.'
https://donate.donaldjtrump.com/mainstream-media-accountability-survey
We've seen more coherent surveys here written by high school students. I'm surprised he didn't use SurveyMonkey, but then he might get an actual cross section of opinions.
Paranoia the destroyer.

our media refers to illegals as immigrants- making no note of the difference between illegal immigrants and legal immigrants. they call islamic terrorist groups "rebels" while referring to Ukrainians who still support their democratically elected president "separatists"
Our media constantly lies and is spreading propaganda at a level I have never witnessed before. Its very disturbing to have most all of the "news" be fake, misleading, factually incorrect etc...

Oh yeah, that's certainly never happened before--until recently. That's why we grew up learning that Madison (who wrote our Constitution) and Jefferson (who wrote the Declaration of Independence) were just terrorists thugs leading an illegal insurrection.

The Internet has certainly changed things for those that have the luxury of time and the curiosity to dig for nuggets of truth. Without both of those search attributes however, it's just another petabyte pile of cyber-poo to fling from one side of the cage to the other.
Perhaps more people are simply becoming aware of just how deep and foul the traditional media really is.
The Orange One sees it, but isn't able to do anything about it. He's still falling for his handler's latest boogeymen in scary Iran. We're still bombing brown people in Yemen and still supporting the biggest terrorists in the ME, Israel and Saudi Arabia.

why is he giving Israel everything they want?
You need to read something other than The Daily Worker. Trump has told the
Israelis they need to back off on the West Bank building projects.

I don't get it, if the Orange One gets it, then why didn't his Muslim ban include Saudi Arabia, and why is he giving Israel everything they want?
The Orange one isn't that bright. Above average at best.
The Orange One gets that the media is corrupt since they lie continually about more inane superficial topics he can spot. He however surrounded himself with MIC stooges who know the warz must continue unabated or the whole USD hegemony goes down. They pivoted to Iran which apparently the Orange One liked, probably because of his own misconceptions about Iranians. Doesn't slow them down a bit since Iran was next in line after Syria.
He's a lot like a child with many insecurities and his handlers, if they tread carefully, can likely lead him down a path still beneficial to the US Murder Machine.
Saudi Arabia is the fly in the ointment... Anyone's guess what Donald will think after meeting with the Royal Terrorists. He'll likely spot them for what they are. The can of worms that opens up, all the way back to what really happened on 9/11, is enormous...
Problem is, there's really nothing he can do about it as president. It's an ornamental position at best.

Jody, I agree that Trump would have been challenged in court no matter what he put into an executive order, but I think it matters that he chose to issue one about an immediate threat which was so flimsy: better any executive order than none, assuming one believes his assertion in an immediate threat. Do you remember John Yoo, the Bush attorney who wrote the legal opinion in support of torture: he teaches at Berkeley and said that Trump's executive order as written could not even get a tie in the supreme court--it was pretty well toast as soon as it was written.
All that said, I don't think the 9th circuit will drop the issue and if not it will end up in the supreme court with 9 members. Also, depending on what Trump includes in a new order we will see what happens in the court.
There are several legal issues that have to be addressed. The first, is due process, but, as I understand it, this only applies to foreigners who are admitted in some form or another. Other than that, I think that there are US laws governing the process of reviewing and admitting foreigners, so there is some mechanism to modify that, whatever it is. The other issue that would come up are any international treaties or agreements we have in which we agreed to take refugees, as Merkel reminded Trump. Trump backed down on the refugees being held in Australia. If Trump wants to start a fight he can, but my guess is that he can do what he thinks is best as regards national security and there will be way to do it.
Personally I think it is a bad approach. I am more concerned about US citizens who become whacked religious fanatics (of all faiths) or racists or anarchists (whatever we call those folks now) and who blow up or shoot a bunch of people. This is what our experience in the US has been. After 9/11, the US changed its vetting processes and they seem to have worked well, especially as compared to the Europeans.
In any case, Trump has lived his life and run his businesses without having to worry too much about unintended consequences--go bankruptcy, get divorced, start a new business, settle a suit, etc.--by treating them as externalities. The presidency may be the position in the world where there the least number of options to treat anything as an externality. You cannot sue yourself, you cannot divorce yourself, you cannot bankrupt the world. One of the major downsides of running the executive branch like this is that the government ends up in court.

We will not know the answer, but given the history of political decisions by the 9th circuit, I would say the odds are in my favor.
And of course, that's why Trump said, "SEE YOU IN COURT!"
Like he's going to take the baloney 9th circuit decision to the SCOTUS.

"Can you definitively say that no one from the Trump campaign, not even General Flynn had any contact with Russian intelligence before the election?"
I, I don't have any, there's nothing that would conclude me, that anything different has changed with respect to that time period.
Sean Spicer Props, he speaks in more complete sentences than our president....
