Earlier today:
( I'm in the lower-right corner of the shot. Follow the dirty kite string down. )
I'm starting to like this dirty string. A lot of kite aerial photogs pay extra to get black line, the theory being it won't stand out in the photo as bad as a white string. But dirty white string seems to me to do a good enough job.

And then it's back to work:
( Not a real job, more like volunteer work. I found out today that the head docent at Point Arena Lighthouse had been looking for me. Uh-oh! That didn't sound good, until she said she was looking for an aerial photo of the lighthouse for a postcard. I think I got her what she was looking for today. )
