Please keep 'em coming, my good Doctor -- both the pictures and the barbs. As I've said before, any lover of cacti must be good, even under a Democratic veneer!

Love your plants Craig! I have always appreciated your no B.S. straightforward attitude and your right on the money politics. Thanks for the crystal at the reunion.

Here are some of the reasons I appreciate my good friend Dr. F:
Craig has been a talented athlete, a sensitive and conscious (and provocative for sure)member of the climbing community and now skilled and respected botanist.
Craig accompanied me on many of our early (and even somewhat recent) climbing and mountaineering exploits across the west including:
-discovering and pioneering several testpeices in Joshua Tree Wonderland (Figures, Such A Savage (FA), etc)
-early onsight ascents of Idllywild routes like Le Toit, The Edge, the Vampire, Rebolting, FA of Johnny Quest, etc..
-numerous narly traverses and peak bags in the Sierras (Palisades, Mt. Sill, Polemonium Peak, etc)
-hard sport routes at the Owens Gorge (while pushing 50 years of age) like Expressway, Ripoff, Chocolate to Morphine etc.
-and now cutting edge cynicism here on Supertopo
Just cuz Craig is old and sometimes overly communicative, I still appreciate his increasingly clear head, constantly analytical mind and very quick wit!
