Hey fisherman your right the last Donny was not me. May be your not as dumb as your climbing skills. And db f*#k you and all of you who think trad is such a big deal. You all talk sh#t about gyms because your all to scared to go in there and hang on a sport 5.8.
And to duh, I would rather your not stareing at my ass anyway.

Stare at your bottom? I don't think so. I've got Marie to do. And yes I'm terribly scare to go "trad" climbing. It's too commiting, the falls too dangerous, the routes too long, and the gear is too heavy. I'm too much a wooly woofter to handle all that hard work. Besides I'd rather not scratch and brusie myself. No , no...don't think so.

True story. A few years ago I found myself at the campground near the base of Devils Tower with three sport climbers who were bragging about climbing 5.11 at their local indoor wall.

In the morning when they got their first sight of the tower one of them was so scared he wouldn't even climb, the other two would follow Durrance 5.6/7, if I would lead it.

I led them to the top doing a couple pitches without gear just to rub it in. They were happy to have summited the tower but one of them, knowing he would never use his shiney new gear, sold me about $500 worth of Camalots, stoppers, and biners for $80.

I love sportclimbers, they leave lots of booty when they bail.

Hey Donny...there is nothing wrong with climbing in a gym. In the off season I teach an intro to climbing class, stressing safety ( I would let any of my students belay me ), as well as technique classes. But the best part of teaching in a gym is being able to pro-deal gear! And with ice season just around the corner...gear get's a bit pricey. Ever try ice? You won't get to far with a handful of draws and spandex!

Ya right like 5.11 in a gym is a big deal anyways. So waht of they didnt no how to put in trad gear if they could they would have probably sent it faster then you. If your not just talking sh#t then they were liars and could not climb 5.11 sport. I guess fishterman is a dumbass

Everyone on this board is so holier-than-thou. And all though it's all a load of shite, it did make me laugh.

Those of you who think you are better just because you climb trad exclusively are missing the boat. Why don't you screw trad and sport alike and free-solo everything? Then you really don't have to lug all that gear. Be like Bachar who resolved one summer not to tie into the rope at all.

Next summer I will not tie in at all. Nor will I stuff my feet into climbing shoes. Nor will I touch chalk. I will go all summer completely leashless with the remote, sending every summer re-run, including commercials. Ten grand to anyone who can follow me.

donny- f*#k off you f*#king f*#k. why is it that men need to prove themselves by the grade they climb? I think sport climbing men that have to trash on trad climbs have a serious penis size issue, like SMALL.translated boys, this means that if you have to spray about climbing 5.13 in a gym, your penis is about 3 inches. and bacher? dude, HASBEEN what the hell is he doing now? eh? any word?

I feel honored! You've called everybody else bad names (waa-waa I want my Mommy). Finally it is my turn.

But I stand by my original post. You are TOO DUMB to be real. You are a troller (if you were real, I'd have to berate your parents for raising such a supremely stupid child).

But I don’t have to climb 5.13 to have a valid opinion. And FYI, I kinda dig it all. Sport, trad, bouldering. Only thing I hate? Stupidity!! But you are not stupid~~ you are satire. Job well done.

Gym 5.13 tough guy? So...? (And no I can't climb 5.13 either on plastic or rock. I top out at respectable 5.11 gear routes.) But I'm glad you get off on sport climbing. STAY AWAY FROM TRAD CLIMBS You spandex wearing, bolt clipping shirt lifter!

All right, all right. I'm just a poor unemployed slob. I go into gyms all across California pretending to check them out to join and then I steal holds. I can only smuggle the small holds out, but I then glue them to the walls of the bridge I live under. That's where I train, and that how I can climb 5.13.
