hey there, say, largo... i dont rightly know you... just from here.... but i sure KNOW how to say happy birthday to all you neat folks here...
so:
happy birthday and enjoy your family...
and may family love be blessed for thee...
say--chappy kind of said the almost the same thing, in a way... he never ended up on the college career route, though he sure enjoyed yosemite... and well:
his daughter angie is going to HARVARD... see... the ol' stream just kind of hits a bend, as it moves through the GENERATION ponds that be... ;)
may they do well and keep making you proud... :)

bodacius birthday wishes john long.
largo piled into a little brown bug with my gal plus me one fall. taquitz to josh, he spent a few days trying to dust me off, barrelling from one imperative to the next. when john thrusts that pointed end at you, one turns and delivers.
i earned a nice nod from the man. a startup guide service was just compiling a brochure that included a long list of names that are my heros to this day. no follow up on my part, but my name looked good in print next to those folks. thanks for the acknowledgement john.
i don't expect you to remember me, but when i get to scannerville, i'll post a pic of the lady, you do remember her. that'll be my gift to you, 31 years hence.
keep forging on at the front of the pack old man

Johnny,
Hoh, man. Your daughters are gorgeous.
Phil G mentions Granite Mountain. Remember that Lightning Crack we climbed with Richard? I wonder if Phil was there that day? We need to go back and find that thing and see if it was as scary as we remember it. Probably pretty tame, in retrospect.
See you soon.

John -
Remember talking that tourist in street shoes up the problem in 4? I looked away knowing he would crater - your enthusiasm (& inspired coaching) saved the day!
How about drinking whatever that was in the bulls foot with the crew that night in Santa Monica?
Proud father!
Best to ya - keep on!
