I'VE A CASE OF SLIGHT INDIGRESSION.
In all honesty, I never heard of Blitzo. I can easily see why he's considered such a good shooter, however, from what I have seen, which is not much, either.
He is an inspiration, though, to me, if only for his clouds alone.
I found myself talking with TimidTightrope, I think it was, this last Facelift, about photographers and shots, and he brought up the name of Minor White when the talk drifted to Ansel Adams. (I wish I'd taken a photograph of the conversation. That would have been original and certainly worth trying. And it would have aided my memory.)
I looked up the name of Minor White in Google. It's the same in English AND in Google, believe it or not!
TT had told me that MW had taken "that famous shot of AA." I thought immediately of one I have on my wall, a print, in fact, of AA on his woody/station wagon object. I think this may be the one to which TT was referring, however, instead of the print on the wall.
This next is the one used for the print, and I think it's taken by Adams with a timer on a second camera, but am not sure of it.
In looking up Minor White I found this bit with advice from three top shooters. Big Mike, listen up.

And just what in the hell is a computer cloud, anyway? Really, I don't care. Just a wild thought.Early gear whore.
