RJ: To say that artist's can't make a living is a just a little exaggerated. I've sold almost every print or painting I've ever made. Many friends have done the same. The view that artists must live in poverty in order to do their work is romantic bullsh*t.
Check out the sold ones at http://www.californiaview.com under Paul Roehl.

Todd Gordon doesn't have a website for his photos, but he should. The man has a killer photo of pretty much any place and any climber you can mention.

I am finishing up a painting for the Tarbuster event. Does anyone know who I need to inform about this, or just show up with it?

I know he's not a regular contributor on the site, but I've been watching his work for the past year or so and find it really inspiring. That, and he is one bad a$$ alpinist.

I do have a website with many of my photos.......http://www.joshuatreeclimb.com/ and thanks for the thumbs up with my photos;....I'm not much of a photographer, but if you take enough photos, especially in beautiful places.........even a knucklehead like myself gets lucky every now and again.......

And Jude;...you RULE;...can't wait to see what you have for Roy's Fundraiser party......your work is the BEST!......you could contact Rick Accamazo, or just bring it day of;....this is very exciting news! Check out the stuff;....

Maybe the "art" is in picking out the good ones, Todd.

But you still have to take a bunch.

I like Philo's marijuana "weed" and the "crampon in".

Good stuff!
