Keep the attacks coming LEB. And the lack of "facts" of which you speak. If the best you can do is try to demean me you're really struggling.

Palin was an early Christmas present that McCain gave to Obama.

"The media has virtually no credibility. I just heard this evening where any number of errors were made in report what Palin allegedly said or did not say but even when the truth was pointed out, they refused to correct their errors."

And where did you hear that? From the media? But the media has virtually no credibility, so how can you believe it?

LOL, Lois, you didn't watch the video. It was Tina Fey doing a parody of Palin. The funny part is that she used Palin's exact words. She didn't distort Palins words. She copied them exactly. If you don't understand how sublimely ridiculous that is, then there is no hope for you to understand anyone here.

Met her responsibilities? I'm sorry but she had a responsibility to say "no" when she was offered the job of VP. She failed miserably at that. And your continued attacks on me for the simple reason that I was unable to afford my girlfriend's $50,000 hospital bill is a little beyond the pale, don't you think? Even for you.

Many here (probably the same ones who pan Palin) think I am of low intellect and stupid as well. I take it from the source. I've not changed my mind one bit about Palin and I hope to see a lot more of her in the future."

yer a ditz, honey.
here's a primer on why you are so damn into her:

the modern republican party has whole-heartedly endorsed an overt anti-intellectualism which is personified in both sarah "saks" palin and in "joe the plumber". no longer do they see competence or excellence as a requisite characteristic for their leaders, and that is because they don't really care about the country, it's people, their issues or concerns, or anything else, save winning elections and gaining or holding power. education and experience are less important for modern republicans than a mix of acceptable characteristics which in sum, do not perturb any single component of the GOP voting "base".

science does not matter.
fear is an ally.
taxes are bad.
war is necessary.
what the other guys says is weak, and they hate america.
the well educated are "elitist".
did i say taxes are bad?
especially for the wealthy, and even more so for the very wealthy, because joe __ might someday become very very wealthy, and if/when he does, he will want to keep every penny.
anyone who points out how republicans break laws is on a witch hunt, so the republicans can break laws (or ignore them) if they are being investigated for law-breaking.

What is supremely ironic, is that if Sarah Palin were the male Governor of Alaska, she would be on no one's radar.

Lois, what I find hard to grasp that you don't see, is that she sets the hard work of women for equality, back decades.

Her credentials for President are so lacking that she is called the least qualified in a century....by the leading conservative columnist in America. Knows nothing about defense, nothing about foreign policy, nothing about law, nothing about economics, has marginal higher education.

Joe the Plumber gave more interviews in a couple of weeks then Palin gave the whole time she was a candidate.

If Palin couldn't face the "limp-wristed liberal elite" media, how could did she expect she could face up to Putin?

Putin was striking out, even when Katie Couric was tossing her softballs.

Would she come back from a summit meeting calling Putin a mean man who tricked her with "gotcha" diplomacy?

My kid got a free wellness checkup. I'm a small business owner, LEB. Like many of us who don't depend on government largess such as yourself, we don't get all the nice perks like "benefits" and "retirement plans." Good thing for you that there were a series of Democrats over the last 80 years who ensured that the government was injecting billions of dollars into health care every year. Entrepreneurs don't usually have that luxury and for all their talk of supporting small businesses I have yet to get a drop of help from my gov't to keep my business running.

The sad thing is that you think you are making a point here. You aren't. You're just attacking me because you don't want to look at any of the clear evidence that this women you claim to want to believe in so dearly isn't fit to take the job you wanted her for. It's pretty sad. Welcome to the Obama Era LEB. Facts matter.

LEB

"Karl,

I hope you don't take this the wrong way because I am looking for a serious answer here. I am not trying to be flip. Of what relevance is it ever as to what Jesus would have done in xyz situation?"

Lois, I was quoting Ken M's take on the importance of religion in voters choices.

That said, I think it's self evident that people who believe Jesus is God would consider what the Teachings of Jesus say about their lives and the issues.

Sadly, it seems like they don't read what Jesus said nor how he fit into the society at the time.

Lois, like nursing, being president actually requires some qualifications and knowledge. Sarah Palin is as qualified to be president as she would be to do your job.

Folks who want a folksy president that they could have a beer instead of a highly educated president should have to get surgery from a redneck doctor trained from comic books

Peace

Jesus LEB. I'm not "whining" I'm defending against your rather despicable attacks. You seem extremely eager to try to pin me as someone soaking off the government as a lame defense for your desire to worship Palin as the Queen of all that is Righteous and Good. I post evidence that Palin doesn't know what she is talking about and your response is to attack me personally. Pretty weak.

In what way has a speak anything to do with if a person is "stupid" or not?

She probably didn't even write the speak herself.

Well, like I said before McCain made the Vice Presidency the most important issue.

Someone said earlier "at least she'll have good advisers."

Sorry, that's not good enough. The more she talked, the more apparent she didn't even have the most rudimentary knowledge base to lead a country. I was alarmed by the lack of knowledge or thought she showed on the Couric interviews. But a Faux News reports suggests she didn't even know Africa was a country.

So her advisers would have to start with "Mrs. President, Africa is a continent."

This is appalling. We dodged a big bullet by her defeat.

I still can't believe anyone could support her after knowing this.
