Great repost Dale! LOL, and Ron, the kid will get to both keep his teeth a few more years, and eventually catch on and learn not to trust anyone over 30 ever again: both valuable things!

If you're still feeling terrible, you could always donate a sum to a charity in the name of this Halloween visitor.

Then, post the OP to your craigslist in the Missing Connections section and let the world know how the experience touched you and you wanted to atone. Whether it's a Toys for Tots donation in the upcoming season, a few dollars to a local place that helps kids/families in need, or some amount to another organization that is meaningful to you, it would be a heartwarming story for people to read. I bet it would even make it to the "Best Of" section.

Hey I didn't "target" the little one. I just ran out and he was the last to push forward so I faked it.If I'd known the others weren't going to thank me he would have gotten all four.

Funny story Dale, reminds me of an experience as a teenager with acetone, but we won't go there.

There's an easy fix for that situation.

Pose the question -- "Obama or McCain?"

The first one that says "Obama" gets told that you think his buddies are more deserving of the candy bar and you have chosen to redistribute the candy among the others in his group.

Come to think of it -- you should have been doing that with all the kids.

Tomorrow Utah is even more likely to cast its electoral votes for the old guy than your (and his) home state of Arizona.

It would have ended up rotting MY teeth.

No offense, Ron. But, how are we supposed to keep our stereotypes intact ?
As one of the chosen ones, three candy bars and four trick-or-treaters should
have netted you seven candy bars when you closed the door on the scary
little gentiles. [JewRL] "Insert Yiddish Exclamation Here" [/JewRL]
