PMB, I hate drugs. Pot was ruined for me by Marinol.
I have taken so many narcotics that I can function very well under their influence ( at least the dose is still small, I have strange interactions with drugs-- still taking the same does as three years ago, actually slightly less, with good results on pain relief. the euphoria is gone, but when you want pain relief, you don;t give a crap about euphoria.)
The worst are the steroids, which really can send one into a rage. I really don't see how those athletes who do a lot of steroids can keep from killing each other. On steroid says I actually take ativan or valium to keep from going berserk.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

yeah well, I got on panthertown knobs at Big Green with Steg and the muppet woman, and thought I was going to die, so, maybe climbing anything even remotely hard is NOT a good idea for me right now, LOL.

Personally, I think we have very good reasons to be angry.
We don't need to unite though...I can do enough damage by myself. :)

Maybe if you all got together, like the Bob-fest or something. Then you could male-bond, beat each other up, etc and get it out of your systems? Then maybe you could be reasonable for a bit like the rest of us?
Just thinking out loud here...

for every st lib who has ever acccused us of "fear-mongering", here's a little crow:
"ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.
“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you - not financially to help him - we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

That is not "fear mongering". He didn't say 'If McCain is elected...'.

There is a big difference between fear mongering and realistic reasoning.
If you dont think what you posted is a reality you have been living under a rock.
Telling the american people an outright lie to support a war is fear mongering. Telling people that the first six months of the new president's term is going to be tuff is truth. It dosnt matter wich man getes elected Bidden's commet is true for both canidates.

I believe Biden is correct about a test on the international scene. If it occurs and Obama is President, he must deal with it quickly and adequately to demonstrate he's not to be messed with. If he fails to do so, we will be in for a very bad time.
Korea and Taiwan are possibles, maybe Eastern Europe. It may not happen due to the world economic slowdown; however, never underestimate the propensity for miscalculation on someone's part.
