For what it's worth, I'd climb with T*R.
I've met her. She's nice, and cute, and fun.
I don't always, or even most of the time, feel exactly the same way she does about things.
But she's pretty small potatoes compared to a lot of pretty terrible assh0les on this site.
I respect HK. I haven't seen evidence of HK "stalking" yet, but he has definitely wasted a fair amount of time and effort following her from thread to thread. Approximately the same amount of time I've wasted reading them. And the same amount of time she's wasted defensively sounded off right back. And yep - all the rest of you, too.
Sounds like we're all pretty even, to me.
It's threads like these that make me want to just have climbing threads posted. Sorry, that's not a threat to your way of life, it's just how I feel, and what I want to read here.
Maybe try being psyched and not so negative - and actually doing the activity that has brought most of us here?
The people I admire the most are the ones who go out and climb, earnestly, joyously, and authentically; then who come back and tell us about how cool it was.
The ones I admire the least are ... the ones that don't.
There are bigger fish to fry than T*Rainbow trout. And we have a limited time here. Is this really the very best use of your precious life?

Yes, a few of us have witnessed some small bloopers...
So what??? Like we didn't stumble around embarrassing ourselves when we were young???
I personally don't see anything wrong with her, I expect life to teach her the things she needs to know. Overall she has a good heart which means everything else will fall into place as time goes on.
If we can learn anything from each other is don't bad talk about another person. Don't be negative, think bad thoughts about others, etc. All this just make things bad between all of us for no reason.

I just clicked on my user name, and was very quickly able to go back two months.
I will soon click on the user name t*r, and then the user name Standing Strong.
What I want to do is re-evaluate my posts with an objective mindset, to try to find
what might be perceived as "stalking" or over-the-top picking on. There are have
been a lot of presumptuous comments, and I want to see if there's really anything there.
Feel free to post up your examples - IN CONTEXT, and especially pre-dating the last couple weeks.
Here's a rough synopsis from where I sit: This forum user came aboard several years ago,
and drew no special notice from me. At times I have groaned at many of this user's approx.
15,000 posts (total count, including the user's self deleted), but the evidence clearly shows
that the VAST majority of this user's posts were made without so much as a peep from me.
It's the same deal as it was with Rajmit (aka Roger Mitchell, attention whore extraordinaire).
It's also the same deal it was with A. Crowley (aka Matt Moore, angry post-whore extraordinaire).
In those cases I sat back and posted NOTHING in response to the noise for at least a a few months,
despite unprecedented levels of extreme irritation and annoyance. I chose knott to feed the trolls.
But then things finally came to a critical mass after several months, and when I finally let
the shít fly, it flew with much vim and vigor. I felt it was like, a public service or something.
So now we have this user who appears to be 25 - 27, who has made a lot of silly posts;
there's no documentable evidence that I have singled this user out or "picked on" this user.
A little over a month ago, this user suddenly started using abrasive language, and
hurtled some insults, which seemed out of this user's character. We're talking some
really nasty, mean-spirited stuff. That's when I decided enough was enough, and
I made the decision to engage this user, which is analogous to an Apache gunship
"engaging" insurgents bent on shooting them out of the sky with shoulder-fired missiles.
In other words, I was knott the kindly, sweet Hardman you have come to love over the years.
It was nothing to be proud of, but I did it for the common good.
Anyway, this is all for now; prepare for what I'm tentatively calling The Mother Of all Rebuttals ™ ™ ™ ™

Well Lois, with all due respect, you are blind. I guess what bothers me the most about her is she is made out to be an innocent little angel when I have shown in a few instances where she personally directed snide remarks at me when I had never said a word to her in my life.
I have yet to see her or any of her defenders acknowledge that fact(I am knott the only recipient of her snide remarks). It isn't even that the comments in themselves really bother me that much. After all, look at the source. However, when people continue to fly the t*r banner in blindness, that bugs me. You t*r defenders are tremendously hypocritical on this issue.
Also, when she does "attack" people, the person being "attacked" is then piled on by t*r's posse if they dare defend themselves. She needs to learn to take the medicine if she can dish it out. Just level the playing field, that's all I ask.

Flashlight, if you didn't like the idea that some think she is all innocent, then you should have spoken to them about that instead of making the attacks that you did. I bet you would find that few if any think she is all innocent. I certainly don't.

Jody, to claim innocence on your part is naive. You have belittled plenty of people on this forum with some of your broad stroke insults. So my guess is that T*R felt insulted by you and attacked you back. None of this is saying that she is innocent, But I hardly find you to be innocent either.
Both sides need to grow up.
Ouch, I think Crowley got what he deserved. He was out of hand and I wouldn't have wanted to be a target of his even though he has many qualities that I like. But his attacks were bad and he should have stopped them.

No Hardman, I don't smoke week and my reasoning is not lame. Jody has used broad stroke insults many times, he shouldn't be surprised when it hits someone and they respond.
If I say stupid conservatives, then I shouldn't be surprised when any one of the people on this site who think of themselves as conservative attacks me, even though I did not single out any one person.
Edit: A fine example is when people say "stupid Christians" and Jody takes it personally.
