hey this is really GREAT!
i never have the opportunity to have anything this close to an actual conversation with people who are such genuine IDIOTS as you guys are!
tell me this-
what had george bush ever CHANGED!?!
we can all agree that he certainly CHANGED the world, can we not?
he CHANGED our prosperous economy
he CHANGED our standing in the world by allowing our repeated disgrace and shredding our very constitution
he CHANGED our feeling of security by blowing off richard clarke's warnings and ignoring the PDB titled "osama bin laden determined to attack inside the unite states"
...need i continue?
yer mcsame sap is a COMPLETE SELL OUT
seen smooching the cheek of the very man who had SMEARED HIS FAMILY
and just to have the promise of support in '08!
and you sheeple mostly didn't want him as your nominee!
he won as the rest imploded-
he only has anyone's attention because he put a MILF on the ticket!
ok seriously-
i hope mcsame wins and abruptly dies!
let's give all of you anti-reality as#@&%es exactly what you are asking for..
(idiots, all of you, sheesh...)

I've been plowing through the Gibson interviews bit by bit, and the overall impression is of someone who has a very limited grasp of the issues facing our nation.
Maybe you "connect" with her maybe you don't, she undoubtably has had an enormous positive effect on the McCain campaign.......but in terms of policy, please don't pretend that Palin brings anything of substance to the table.
This is someone who has a decent chance of becoming president if McCain is elected, and that should be an unsettling thought for any American.
There is a line up of issues on the near horizon that promises to make the next presidency one of the most challenging of modern times.

What's not to like about Palin? McCain picked a fine republican, that's for sure!
1) She is opposed to abortion even in cases of rape and incest (even if victims are children)
2) She offered a bounty of $150 for each right front leg of freshly killed wolves
3) She is presently under investigation in Alaska for abuse of power
4) She strongly supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
5) She supports the Alaskan Independence Party which seeks independence from the United States (VIDEO)
6) She is a champion for big oil and her campaign slogan has become "Drill, baby, drill!"
7) She believes creationism should be taught in public schools
8) She believes man-made global warming is a farce
9) She is opposed to listing the polar bear as an endangered species because it might limit oil exploitation
10) While mayor of Wasilla she tried to fire the city librarian because the librarian refused to censor books
11) She supports aerial hunting of wolves and bears even though Alaskans voted twice to ban the practice
12) She used $400,000 of state money to fund a propaganda campaign in support of aerial hunting
13) As mayor of Wasilla, she made rape victims pay for their own forensic evidence kits

Gov. Tony Knowles and current Ketchikan Mayor Bob Weinstein -- both Democrats -- accused Palin of misleading the public in her new role as the vice presidential running mate of Arizona Sen. John McCain.
While some of their complaints have already been aired, Knowles broke new ground while answering a reporter’s question on whether Wasilla forced rape victims to pay for their own forensic tests when Palin was mayor.
True, Knowles said.
Eight years ago, complaints about charging rape victims for medical exams in Wasilla prompted the Alaska Legislature to pass a bill -- signed into law by Knowles -- that banned the practice statewide.
"There was one town in Alaska that was charging victims for this, and that was Wasilla," Knowles said.

yeah russ, that was f*#ked up, and that was the very point of it pal.
btw, there is a wide sarchasm between you and i, or so it seems.
here's one for you guys that go on about mccain's "character":
in 2000 he said pat robertson and some of his fellow prominent evangelical preachers were "agents of intolerance". he then lost the south carolina primary, lost super tuesday, and lost the nomination of his party to a governor who had barely even set foot in another country, but went on and on about his "faith".
in 2008 he reached out to pat robertson, he won south carolina, he won super tuesday, and he won the nomination of his party, and then as VP he selected a governor who has barely even set foot in another country (i.e. "gW in a dress").
i thought character was defined "doing the right thing when nobody else is looking"? apparently "character" in the GOP is defined as cowtowing to those few power brokers who are really in charge?
yeah, that's some CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!!!
and russ, i'll pick being a "f*#ked up dude" in some peoples eye's over being a full on idiot any f*#king day-
and you people who seriously don't recognize just how uncomfortably close (i.e. "a heartbeat away") we'd all be to a massive global crisis if mccain/palin win this election are truly as blind as bats. i find it really shocking that anyone with any amount of mental capacity at all would not immediately dismiss it as a ridiculous risk for our nation and for the world as a whole.
so am i f*#ked up?
well yeah, just the thought of it is f*#king me up.
every one of "the founding fathers" (whom the right wing is so fond of championing when it's convenient) would be turning over in his grave.

Wow Matt, pure class....NOT. Wishing someone's death to prove a point? How about what happens if Obama wins. Think some racist redneck may take him out? It wouldn't surprise me a bit, but I wouldn't wish that on Obama just because my views are different than his. I think you are the idiot!

I watched Palin's first interview. Without a pre-written speech she didn't do so well.
Did you hear her the three ways she said they were going to distingish themselves from Bush's economic polices? Cut taxes, reduce spending and increase regulatory oversight.
As both mayor and governor she has increased taxes and increased spending. Ideologically she has been anti-regulation.

Lois, did you watch her interview with Charles Gibson? Are you as enthusiastic about her now?
This was the first interview--the first time she's had to answer questions on the spot in her own words--she gave since her selection was announced so she had plenty of time to prepare.
Charles Gibson was being very nice but it was painful to watch, to the point where I felt embarrassed and sorry for her.
I don't think they are going to let her give very many other interviews or unscripted speeches.
