I'm tempted but I have some things I need to work out.

I'm partially tempted to take three days off of work before turkeyday and give myself a nice 9 day vacation.

But I'll be honest I probably won't be able to commit on anything for a few weeks - possibly not until after Yosemite. But just keep the idea floating.

I like the idea of Red Rocks. I've not spent enough time there and the weather would be perfect.

Beatrix,

Thanks for the offer, we will have to set something up for sure.

Furthermore, I'm new to the site, and to rock climbing. I'm sure its kind of a buzz kill but is this shindig cool for newbs? I'd love to get on the rock and I'm dying to climb, but being from teh flat lands of Chicago I haven't afforded myself much experience aside from the occasional gym romp!

Either way I'm stoked and can't wait

Seth,

get your @$$ to the gym. Vegas has some of the best easy long climbs anywhere. What do you mean newb like as in newb to sushi. That's no problem we'll start you off with uni.

Sounds good Seth. We should get out after work some time. I can go Wed and Thurs. I work 15 minutes from climbing all around Golden and about 30 minutes from Boulder. Lemme know!

This will be my first sushi fest!

oh I am no newb to sushi....I love me some sushi, anything and everything!!!!!

I'm new to climbing though, so I don't want to hinder anyone who is much better then me.

Either way is the T-day sushi fest in Vegas or Colorado? I'm still a little confused on that one? hahaha.
