Here's a photo of Greg with some custom QD's
A friend a I were doing some climbing in ORG after getting shut down on a Mt Humpheries winter attempt. We ran into Greg in Bishop one evening and he said he would like to join us the following day, cool. He quickly showed us how we were going to die using two oval biners on the bolted routes. Yes we had a set of slung hexes and stoppers with us that he quickly set up as QD's. Trad dudes in the gorge, what were we thinking?
Thanks for schooling us Greg

Greg was one of the original san diego team -
Spent many days at the local crags with him and others...
I am and have always been very impressed and inspired
By his rise to photographic greatness.
Too many good memories - he may not remember
The day I caught his ass on some runout sick thing
At canyon tahoe - reeled in a lot of slack, you could
Do that with a hip belay :)
Without eppi san diego climbing would have been
Lacking - a motivated guy for sure.
Remember the stilts he used?
Pretty cool.

Epi, a good friend, kind, funny, motivated and hospitable. I have spent some wonderful hours in his company in many places in the US. He gets around and he is skilled with a camera. Just an all round great guy!

SteveW, who was the postcard photo of? Our very own Jobee Whitford?
Greg has captured some really incredible stuff in very creative ways. I personally love the photo of him on stilts on Boney Fingers. Gordon, post that one up. It's one of my favs!

Greg is a great climber and stellar photographer, but he is more than those. He has transcended and is part of climbing culture.
Good luck Greg! Keep on crankin' and clickin'...

I've met/climb with Greg for only one day early this spring in Joshua Tree. He wanted to shoot some photos of a friend on a few classics. All I can say is, what a great guy! super positive, laid-back, a lot of fun, really really cool person.
