I'm up 1 1/2 this morning for a total loss of 1 1/2. (Apparently red wine is bad for dieting efforts.) OOPS. I'm doing a three mile approach Saturday to get to some newly developed area, so if that doesn't kill me, it should be good for a pound or two of sweat. I'm actually down 9 pounds but I started dieting two weeks ahead of everyone else. I may be hitting a plateau...

Down a solid 5 this morning. Largly in weight (pun intended) by the lack of drinking I've been doing. The only booze I've had was splitting a beer with Fletch1 on Saturday. (we should have had a stop watch on how quick did that went down)

Looking forward to losing the rest of the flab. Next week I might even try some pull ups, crunches and push ups.

How about you Fletch....Elliptical bound? ..............snicker.............

I'll get on the elliptical if you'll do the three mile approach with me this weekend...

My official weigh in was down 5 lbs even. Better yet that was before the morning ritual, and with a lb of cloths on. Apparently belaying aid for 4 hours on the cold ground burns calories. Who'd a thunk it?

well, I admit to only being down 3 1/2. I am, however, down for a total of 12 1/2 (as I started losing before the challenge started.) So, I'll be paying today but not unhappily.

I've lost a conservative 6 lbs, and even better I've made great gains in cardio fitness due to the bike rides. While climbing yesterday I noticed I can tighten up on my harness a bit, and actually felt somewhat lighter on the rock.
Time to redouble my efforts; onward to true honed-ness!

Today is the 2 week weigh in! I need numbers emailed or posted here. For those of you who do not make weight (at least 4 pounds down from weigh in) you will owe $10.00 to the Pool.

Me? I too, like Moof am in the clear. Not wanting to give up too much information should there be side bets on who will be in the winners pool. Russ is also, "well down".

How's everyone else doing?

I was well into the safe zone yesterday after the mid-point weigh in. Unfortunately, I may have exceeded my authority. After driving between J-Tree & Phoenix last night I decided to stop by for a "small snack".

Now the photo is a bit of a stretch as I didn't have a double BUT I did have a chocolate shake.

Damn it to Hell if I didn't weigh in this morning at exactly 4 pounds down from my starting weight.

Don't do it people, cheating is evil. Stick to the plan to get to your goal. DONT DEVIATE from the plan or you'll end up like me.

somewhat unrelated but I thought I'd share anyway.

After a full week of cleaning up Yosemite yet doing damage to my liver at the same time I've started a three week raw foods cleanse. You people have it easy. Good job to all!

Lost eight lbs. so far. As expected, it's getting a little harder to keep losing as I get lighter, but with a week to go I'm thinking I should make it.
Longer bike rides = sore butt.

I'm in serious trouble. Back from vacation and I'm right back where I started. Down ZERO today. Nothing short of a miracle will keep me from getting out my checkbook. Now I'm just doing damamge control.

Fletch, what happened?

I thought I was in serious trouble after attending the ball game with Mr. X. It started off all reasonable with 1/2 of a brat, 1 bad Miller Light beer (only 100 calories and low on carbs). HAD I stopped there I could have gone home felling feeling in control but between the Cubs losing the game and me going to the concession for......... cheddar/parm popcorn and Cold Stone Ice Cream I went home feeling fat, bloated and ill.

Amazingly, Russ's scale claims that I'm looking good for making the goal IF I can control myself this weekend. Otherwise, who knows I might be coughing up a few bones myself.

Go team Go! We can do it. Certainly we can do this. Fletch, things might be better than you think. Now that you've bounced around on your calorie count the weight might just fall off this week. Spend your energy saving kitties not eating!

Despite diet AND EXERCISE I gained a pound-a-day for three days before I left for my sisters. This did not put me in the best mind frame for attempting to diet away from home. Feeling very cheated despite all of my good actions, I, of course, had beer and many, many carmel-filled chocolate kisses at my sisters. That is what happened. I'm back on track again, but I'm sure I'll be paying.
