Tahoe, yes it's hot then. Please note that it was FREEZING at the last sushifest, so on average the temperature for Sushifest will be perfect.

Hey everyone, I really dislike rockclimbing when its too hot out. That's why I've lived here for 17 years and seldom road trip in the summer. We have shady climbing in narrow canyons at 6,000-9,000 feet of elevation. It can freeze here at night any day of the year. We have a shorter growing season than Minnesota or most ofAlaska.See you all at SushiFest2 for some of the best summer time climbing in the states. Trad, sport, bouldering on Limestone, Sandstone, basalt and that crazy dacite. Lets get this party started. Cheers, The Doctor

Hey all. I'm flying into Phoenix on the 11th and flying out again on the 18th. Anyone interested in sharing rides/splitting costs? Let me know...

unlike the last place we had a sushifest, where there was a "no keg" rule, this time around I fully expect there to be a keg... or three. It'll cut our beer costs in half - thus meaning we can (and will) drink twice as much. IT also means I don't have to haul away a ton of recycleables.

Beaver Street Brewery has a most excellent IPA.

There is also a liquor store in Sedona which has three shelves of Sake. The bar (yes, we'll have a real one) will be stocked.

And before anyone beats me to it, yes, in Flagstaff, you can stand on the corner of Beaver and Cherry (no joke).

crimpie: got your funds today. thanks.

I hear there's a high premium for using that corner.

And only one of my three selves drinks sake, but thats cause one of the others is russian.

Rogue from Hell, eh?

Cool. Is this a supertaco character? The nick isn't familiar (but sounds like he'd fit right in)

I'll start talking kegs/booze, etc. as we get closer to the event.

People are starting to pile on. This will be a good one. Wheee!

Crimpie: you are planning on renting a car, yes?
