Very nice and modern.

I use Chrome but Safari is still on my machine so I tested it with the new forum and it works for me.

Sorry John, not laughing at you, but RW is funny.

Base104 tells me that Russ had him laughing his ass off and rolling in the dirt in C4 more than once.

johntp's alarming posts are a red-flag for me. I've been reading his ST posts for years & I don;t recall any BS in them.

And, Burning Venom? Please remind us of your former ST persona or your real-world links?

Yeah. Not sure what is up but went overboard in assessing blame to redpoint. Still seems a bit weird and not sure how this happened re: computer linked to TV cable. I don't know as I'm not a web designer. If no one else is having a problem, they are prolly correct.

BV? If Todd has his back, I will as well.

As previously mentioned, I lurked at ST more than posted. And yeah, I was at the party where Watusi had a few too many and got it into his head to drive to town for cigs. We could not dissuade him and thankfully did not accompany him. The morning following the Pinky Lee incident, I drove Mike back down the hill to the accident site and helped him search for his now ripped off gear. Couple days later we started working on removing bolts from some of his partially completed projects lest some fame and glory guide book story posers poach the fa's. But that is a story for another day. Presently this is about the best I've got:

After logging out the washing machine won’t stop doing a spin cycle and my bluetooth speaker has “I touch myself” by the Divynals on auto repeat.

Aaaaargh! Technology is a curse!!!

I'm laughing my head off and the kids are wondering ....

I'm wondering, how has Susan survived the laugh factor?

I haven't had a chance to fully explore it's potential, but at first glance, it sure looks good.

I'd be very, very psyched to see a Forum that replaces ST that was created and managed by someone who knows what made ST Forum as good as it is (was), and is utilizing a format that is conducive to that potential.

Thank you, bv, for this effort. It's definitely provided a bright spot in the eminent demise of a Forum that I greatly valued.

EF off Apogee. No really, I mean it. you kinda suck.

Anyways my point is, like many other websites, I followed the rules and it wouldn't allow me in. Am I supposed to guess then, what more it wants me to do? Maybe some of you got in cuz you're used to adding capital letters, special characters, numbers, etc. etc..

I don't. I gravitate towards simpler parameters. So if it says 14 characters minimum I assume that's what it means. Then it doesn't let you in. OK, is that cuz I didn't enter numbers? Capital characters? What? Yeah roll yer eyes. I tend to take things quite literally. So what exactly do you have to do to make the cut? Anyway, I'm not gonna sit there and play the game, that's all. And why so hard just to get into your forum site so you can shoot the sh#t? It's not like you're getting into Fort Knox or anything.

14 characters minimum

Such st00pid horsesh!t security fanaticism.

8 is all you really need for a dumb climbing forum.

Sh!t .... I log onto heavy security conscious govt. sites and they only need 8 characters .....

Burning Venom ... your login requirements are insane.

Lynne, I read the trip report you sited. I will miss your posts. You are a beautiful person, probably don't remember meeting me, April and daughter Sydney down at Todd's but hopefully one day we'll meet again.

Take care,
Arne
