This was a meta-April-Fools. To the extent you got all offended, you went along for the ride.
"Bad taste." Perhaps. No worse than the endless liberal echo-chambers. And there's no accounting for taste. I showed the OP to friends before posting up, and they about fell over laughing. No accounting for taste.

But I did learn a LOT from this thread! Only John Gill and Ricky D in the second and third posts seem to have their offense-meters properly dialed in. For the rest, thank you! A very impressive range of honest reactions ranging from pretty low personal attacks on me to thoughtful musings that concluded, "I didn't like it much." And everything in between, mostly raving "offense." Thanks again!

Anyone in the public sector is fair game... as long as you're not threatening them or their families with harm (like say posing with their severed head) it's all good.
