I have one more day of sewing before I put the machine away for the winter, and I can assure you that I just don't intend to spend that time making any My Attorney Got Arrested chalkbags.
I need to repair some open seams in my duvet cover. It's a gorgeous heavily embroidered silk covering for my down comforter, but probably too delicate to use for van living. Nonetheless - it's being cleaned at this moment, and hopefully it will survive the washing without too much more damage in need of repair.
But - yes, I WILL be posting a "Chalkbag" thread just before I hit the road. Yes, I know that bugs the heck out of some people.
As for the "historical facts" as mentioned above - It's NOT that I think history should be whitewashed or ignored. It's that a MEMORIAL THREAD IS AN INAPPROPRIATE PLACE TO INCLUDE SUCH TOPICS. Is it REALLY hard to imagine yourself, after someone beloved to you passes away, searching their name online and clicking on what you think is a memorial thread, and seeing someone has taken it upon themselves to talk smack?
