Jaybro.... I think many might agree it could go on forever. The real trick for turd is to divert the attention so that T VS T episode two can grow into the same smash hit as this one.

No doubt, Nanachro, glad I'm getting paid to follow this.
Apparently being puppetmaster is a demanding task maker.

My brother was a nurse. The he decided that it was better to be a doctor. Is that right?
So he went to Jefferson.
Other than that, I do not really know much about medicine. Well except my youngest brother teaches it. But that doesn't really mean that I know anything about it either.
And my son is waiting to take the EMT certification exam. They do not have that computerized in NJ for some reason. So they have to send proctors, no. 2 pencils, booklets and answer sheets.
Why do they still do that?
If Ouch! confessed to being turd, would that be convincing? What if Ouch! confessed and turd denied it, then what? What if Ouch said he was turd, and turd said he was Ouch? I think there may be a lot of scenarios to consider. For example, LEB has admitted to being DMT, but DMT has never admitted to being a nurse.
Do you have to be able to work a number 2 pencil still if you want to become a nurse?

TiG:ROTFLMAO - and I mean it! I'll write it with a number 2, since I'm a nurse, after all...

Is this thread as recursive as it seems? Would some clues be more evident if some posts were read outloud?
at least we now know that Turd is Lois' husband, glad that's settled.
My dad was in the Air Force, well, Army Air Force in those days. I used to pack his signal mirror on all sorts of BSA outings. I either lost it, broke it, started too many fires with it or loaned it to someone who did it in with a razor blade while chop... never mind.
Am I correct in thinking that Korean style Sushi is that the relies more on cooked fish?
I know at least half a dozen prolific climbers who are nurses most of them are male. Seems like a good gig for a climber, if you're into it. Better than being an MD; except maybe for Dermatologists, ENT's, or ER surgeons.

So the answer is you don't know? Whether a doctor is better than an engineer. Or a nurse is better than a physicist?
OK.
Well what about number 2 pencils? You did not answer that question.

OK, now I'm really confused. Here all along I just figured nature was LEB's husband. It would explain a lot.
but wait! I have a question: Would a doctor, nurse or proctologist make a better SAR team member?

Trad, isn't that partly because of the practical nature of some of those tests?
"Annie, annie, speak to me, no pulse, call 911, apply direct pressure."

I noticed a lot of guy friends who went into nursing took the medical direction after they got hurt and experienced whole medical-responder world that way.
Do you have friends like that Lois? Stories?

Lois, I think you might have misunderstood my question. Today kids mostly type their papers, homework, etc. on laptops. You were so kind to answer the other questions.
So will they still have to master a # two pencil to take entrance examinations, or certification exams, etc.?
Perhaps your husband protests too much. I could easily imagine an ex-Buff naviguessor planting a fake body in bed while simultaneously in his real body, posting a conversation with you on super topo. Not sure why he would choose "turd" though. Do you have any insight on that?
And check under the covers next time. It is really easy to hide a laptop under the covers.

HI Lois,
I am trying to understand something. Would you please help me? If a nurse pracitioner can diagnose and a doctor can diagnose, then what is the difference between the two? I am trying to understand this. Wouldn't that make someone a nurse doctor or perhaps a doctor nurse? I do not wish to be a nurse or a doctor but I am very interested as I have been in the hospital more then most and have some experience there.

JET, perhaps he is upset because you are not referring any clients to him. Move some money from their accounts to his. Perhaps you know some nurses or NPs who could be introduced to climbing.

Lois, my friends got injured in accidents and after being rescued and healed, went into medicine. Usually EMT-Paramedic and then nursing when that started to suck
"Would a doctor, nurse or proctologist make a better SAR team member?"
What does a proctologist get when he goes on a Search And Recovery mission?
a turd!
Yuk
Fatty, sorry buddy, folks who teach and heal do society more good that pump and dumpers, churners and commission suckers. Don't be sad, not everyone can be nice as you know. Get me some details on those Walnut creek shows. I might be game. I appreciate trickle down economics when it actually happens.
Also, Lois, what are the CE (continuing education) requirement for nurses. Do they pay you to get em or do you do it on your own time. I have to go back to some school to renew my teaching cert if I want a job because I lapsed on CE, same with my Wilderness EMT.
Peace
Karl

Did I mention I'm going back to school to take some HRM courses? I wonder if I need a number 2 for that.

It's the insurance companies that empower the PA/NP revolution.
Doctor seem like they are starting to just walk around and give one liners to folks.
"Hello, I'm Doctor Proctor and I've approved this treatment!"

Life just isn't what it used to be.
Many years ago a construction worker walked into our solid state physics lab. and says," I understand you are a Doc?"
The reply, "Well. Yes."
Worker opens mouth and says," Can you pull this tooth? It is killing me."
Werner said, "Don. Needlenose pliers if you please."
After the extraction the patient said, " Thanks Doc." And walked out.
Around that time one of the guys also had a semi-medical project and he kept the head from a cadaver in the fridge next to the lunch bags. Atmosphere we had.
Cheers,

Karl is a very smart man. Some of us have to work, you know.
Lois,
I was thinking about our conversation and was wondering something. Would you say that the medical profession is political? Also, do doctors and NP's generally get along?
