Had dinner with my partner last night, hatched some plans and hopefully the ridge rising out of the cloud will see a FA this season.

Piergiorgio...Greg Crouch and I took inspiration from a route on it named "Greenpeace." We thought the name was hopelessly PC so when we did tht FA of the North Pillar of Pollone which lies just next door we called it...."A Fine Piece."

One of the 50 overcrowded climbs in north America. Though it has probably now been done as a day hike it probably still has uncrowded days.

This is just the prealps... I can't wait to get to the real Alps with some technical gear some day! Will probably go hiking in this place (Grignetta and Grignone) again in about a month:

Ben Lomond seems like a mountain to me - even if it's flat topped.

Donini! Glad to see you intend to bag that pesky ridge. It seems a little shy about showing its charms.
