No irony at all Chief. I very deliberately put that picture in there as an example of how wrong our nation actually has been on similar issues in the past. Things we pretended to have learned from.
.. and you misquoted me..I do tear up everytime I see one of the Japanese internment camps. I've sworn never to forget.
It is known that FDR had some admiration for fascism and at least some desire for that type of power.
He did issue executive order 9066 creating the internment of the Japanese.
I am no fan of this type of thing regardless what party proposes it.
Today it happens to be a republican.

Considering that the Empire of Japan was on a ruthless conquest of the Pacific, you do not believe that any of those Japanese Americans may have become sympathetic to the Empire and turned their loyalty to such.... Not one?

Neither the Germans nor the Italians ATTACKED us as specifically as the Japanese did on Pearl. Too many indications of precise timing and the target locations led the President to believe different.
Big difference.
