As a reminder, the awesome Chris Chan also soloed the Shield in a very efficient style and would have done much more I am sure.
Holly Beck soloed a few routes as well, including Virginia, leading the crux pitch basically in a white out, climbing through multiple storms. Her Solo of Dihedral wall was well after the close of the season. Her van was the only vehicle on el cap straightaway during much of that climb.
Cybele Blood has routes on El Cap, Half Dome, and of course the tower and the Column, both solo and with partners.
Melissa and others have many (possibly a dozen or more) el cap routes under their belts.

Sorry but.... Female Badass Big Waller Soloists do exist.
They are just low keyed and don't... spray.

They are just low keyed and don't... spray on the supertopo. They spray to the climbing mags when they do anything even close to notable.

Sorry. But... Silvia has been at this Big Walling Solo Game for well over 20 years now. Her many amazing feats have just recently (the past year or so) come to light in Climbing Mag.
Oh, and Silvia did not submit her shet (Spray) to Climbing. They just recently found out about her and started publishing her incredible accomplishments.

Shet does not usually come up unreported. To report something mags of any kind will usually ask the climber for details etc. Reporting = spraying.
Shet, the OP pre-sprayed about her planned solo of an el cap route with a video and a thread on supertopo!
Yeah...the females never spray. It is the ego driven males that do it. And Mayan does not have a video of her free climbing the Salathe. And there is no video of Emily Harrington climbing the golden gate. No videos of Lynn Hill on the Nose. No videos of Beth Rodden spraying. No videos of Hazel F. on El Cap. No videos about prominent female climbers spraying about climbing on the Hulk. And there is no video of the female nose speed record. And yeah, no numerous articles about it all. Because the females don't spray.

SPRAY = Climber Initiates the details to a source/Writes it up and voluntarily submits it themselves.
Dah.
Like I said, Silvia has been at this game for a long ass time without a peep of her totally BADAZZ accomplishments all over this planet.
FAing on Porcelain Wall in 97' and Soloing the "Wyoming Sheep Ranch” in 99' just a few including Ret Wall etc.

Strange, I wounder how I have known about her and some of her accomplishments for maybe 20 years if not the climbing mags have written about her?
But as always, the chief knows everything and is always correct so I must be wrong.

From the looks of her website, 'spraying' is how she makes a living...
My point is not that it is a bad form to talk about climbs you do. If I thought it was lame I wouldn't post about hard or easy climbs that I do... My point is that women also talk about things they climb, contrary to the claim in the OP.
In addition, I have to say Chief and I seem to have a different understanding of the word spray? Maybe not, not sure.
To me, spray is when some random climber I barely met, goes off listing his whole resume for no reason, giving a bunch of beta without being asked for it or asks me what I did today so that he/she could cut me off in the middle if the sentence and list the rad things they 'got' on. So I don't personally consider those videos I listed or reports to magazines as spray. Seems like a positive contribution not spray...
Anyway, it is a pathetic argument.

I like aid climbing and am a female getting to the Valley today. Didn't realize there were more male aid climbers than female. It's hard to talk men or women into trying aid- it's too slow for most people.

When I saw the initial posts about eating bugs on the wall, I honestly didn’t believe someone is actually doing it. Psyched it worked out and your message got the attention.
A female friend just soloed an A4 route on El Cap. Slightly over a year after learning to aid climb on LeConte boulder LOL.
