Very sorry to see you go, since yours were posts I always found worthwhile. I hope some day that I can meet you in person. You've enriched my stay at ST a very great deal.

Is it me or does Rick (in the above photo montage) look like he ought to be swinging a lawnmower blade and asking for "more French fried 'taters, mmmmhummm"?

IMO, if you find yourself deeply affected by what's posted here, and it upsets you, and you feel like you need to tell someone - you are really no different. If I want to roll around in the mud with some moron, I can do that. If I want to be a part of something positive, I can do that too. Kind of depends on my mood.

All of you frequent (narc.) posters eventually come back - every single time. This sh#t is your oxygen, suck it in.

I'm not saying adios. I will say thanks for helping this scrub out when I first entered the Taco and my first Face Lift C-4 experience.

Dude, being a missionary of the "real rock world" isn't easy. But how can one learn if wisdom deserts?

No Peace.....til you recant. lynnie :)

PS, El Cap, you know better than I about climbing's great past, present, (Cliffhangers JTree opening day at new venue) and future.

Will's post was a double whammy. Not only will we miss his commentary here, but now I know I have no chance for him to accept my Facebook friend request.

:-(

I must admit, although we usually disagreed about OT matters, over the years I've come to value El Cap's OT posts greatly -- and his TR's were always first-rate.

That's a real drag.

I hope you'll reconsider, but I know that's pretty damn unlikely.

Your contributions are some of the best in this Forum. I will miss them greatly.

Unfortunately, this kind of thing is not unique to Supertopo.

Good to remember there are actual human beings on the receiving end of your keyboard.

Sorry to loose a real asset to the site . . .

I don't really understand this "holier than thou" attitude of people that threaten to leave.
We are the great unwashed masses, and they are God's gift to climbing forums or something.
Like they thought they deserved more ass kissing, and didn't get it, so they make a big deal about how rotten we all are.

I don't get that attitude about it at all. There are things about the Forum or the people on the forum that bother people - and very different things bother very different people - and they just get weary of it. If it takes too much energy from them to participate, it's natural to leave, or to participate less.
Why do anything that takes energy unless you are getting paid for it? This place is "play". If it stops feeling like play to you, go.

I think saying farewell is a nice thing to do. It's just a form of politeness to say farewell rather than disappearing silently.

He can't reply to any of these posts folks. He already drew his line in the sand. He's reading every post and it's killing him. Like painting yerself into a corner.

You are missed so come back any time!

To all you fools,
You deserve me .

more of me is what you want?
I don't think so. . .

Learn to play nice or this place will start to resemble
Those other sites!

Is that what you want?
Don't think so, I do not.
