Liberals are still confused as to which is worse, violent acts against women or racism. Also Islamophobia, that might be the end-all of terrible acts.

Yup.....if the allegations are true, a serial sociopathic rapist. The books and the act just makes him that much more sinister. His reaction in the latest interview was pretty telling. He truely thinks he can say whatever and people will believe him.

I was wondering what all the fuss was - I knew he make some funny-assed movies with Bob Hope - so I Googled him and found out he wore a dress and danced.

Any truth to the rumour that Cosby raped O'Reilly and then they paid each other off?

Maybe some folks just have a hard (or not so hard) time trying to get off and they need to spice things up a bit with cash.

If the allegations are true, then it's a very sad story.

16 women making various (and some similar) allegations, none have any monetary thing to gain. Why would anyone believe that they are all making up lies?

Because it is easier to ignore the elephant in the living room that way. The elephant is not Cosby, by the way, but the cultural perspective of rape as an acceptable behavior, women as deserving of debasement.

I'm not sure anyone believes that they are all lying.

BUT: We still have these annoying little problems of presumed innocence, proof, fair trial, statute of limitations, you know, just little sh#t like that.

One thing's for sure...

Cosby failed to predict the power of the future.

That would manifest itself in something that would be called...

Actually, that refers to legal guilt in a court of law. And it does.

Those things don't mean that he did not commit the crimes, and people are free to feel as they want, as they did with Lance.

i almost feel guilty for posting this, as it'll probably be read by some as bumping a thread purely due to the gratuity of the story.

but that's not my motive. i think the more we as a human species continue to talk about and become more aware of how prevalent this sh#t [and by this sh#t, i mean in general violence towards women] still is, the better.

and so with that intent there's an incredibly powerful story over at the New York Magazine's website that documents both stories and photos of 35 of the 46 women who have so far come forward with stories of rape and sexual assault by a man once loved by almost all:

“People often these days say, ‘Well, why didn’t you take it to the police?’ Andrea Constand went to the police in 2005 — how’d it work out for her? Not at all. In 2005, Bill Cosby still had control of the media. In 2015, we have social media. We can’t be disappeared. It’s online and can never go away.” —Tamara Green

"The Yahoo page came up, and there was something about Cosby, this thing with Hannibal Buress. And all of a sudden, something just hit me. Anger. Son of a bitch! You know, a woman can be not believed for 30 years. But it takes one man? To make a joke about it? That f*#king pissed me off so bad. Suddenly I’m thinking, Who do I contact?” —Victoria Valentino

i hope his wife is able to wake up someday...

Speaking of Lance, was he juicing at the marathon?

Exhausted and nearly walking, Armstrong crossed the finish line in 2 hours 59 minutes 36 seconds. He was 869th, with a pace of 6:51 a mile.

“I can tell you, 20 years of pro sports, endurance sports, from triathlons to cycling, all of the Tours — even the worst days on the Tours — nothing was as hard as that, and nothing left me feeling the way I feel now, in terms of just sheer fatigue and soreness,” he said, looking spent, at a news conference.

With the proper dosage:

Armstrong had said that he could have run a sub-2:30 if he had trained properly, but for now he ruled out another marathon. Nothing in cycling ever came close to three hours of punishment at this level, he said.

So I say there is a big parallel between Bill Cosby and Bill Clinton–aside from their initials! Young feminists need to understand that this abusive behavior by powerful men signifies their sense that female power is much bigger than they are! These two people, Clinton and Cosby, are emotionally infantile–they’re engaged in a war with female power. It has something to do with their early sense of being smothered by female power–and this pathetic, abusive and criminal behavior is the result of their sense of inadequacy.
