hey there say, seamstress... very sweet gentle and nice post, as to the place-of-climbs, in the area you mentioned... and the shared air of it all...

may folks in all places, as such, continually keep that caring and overlapping of 'we need each other' feelings... we are fragile, but spirits and love, can be strong...

keeping all these recentl families, with loved ones that are now gone, close in prayers...

Just by the nature of the act, rescuers leave themselves open to the possibility of a failure that never goes away and never gets easier to bear. One of the many things we need to keep visible any time we tie into a rope. Also by the nature of the pursuit, these possibilities never go entirely away.

Brian, you are so very missed, this valley and this ledge will never quite feel the same. Godspeed to you and much love to Hana and your wife in this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers and memories are with you all.

So far no details have been published beyond the Conway Daily Sun account, which at first glance seems a model of good reporting -- the reporter talked with Brad White, one of the rescue group climbers.

Yeah, that is because the reporter (Erik Eisele) is also a climber (talented at both) and personal friend of Brian.
