Nope Jefe. You took Texas Scott up hassayampa(sp?). Hunter(then Kenny)and Blaire C. as a pair, and Steve Grillomonster y myself all on Magnolia. My first lead ever was the second pitch for me. I was hooked. I had no f*#king clue what I was doing and sent!!!!!!! I was intimidated by you, and stoked to have an opportunity to hang up there in your presence. You know how it was. It wasYour mellowness that I didn't understand. Now I do bro. And I try.
We all met at the top after we crawled through the canal. Magical to a point as if were yesterday. Time to have a good go again up there.
Does anyone see The Troutman? 😜

If you want to experience that curiously burly good ol' time "old school" climbing, do Green Savior with the direct start pitch and Crisco Way. While you're workin' it remember it's "just" 5.8!
Thanks for the great pics and stories, Jefe!

I spent a whole day there back when I was 19 or so, with Chris Rowins. We had heard about it (remember: no internet back then, kiddo's), and spent a day there when passing through, on our way to the Valley or something.
I remember doing Magnolia Thunderpussy. I'll never forget the name, although I can't remember a thing about the route. We also did a 5.11 thin crack down low. Can't remember much more about that. The rock was pretty darn good, and if I had lived there, it would have been a good home crag. Plenty of routes to keep you busy.
