Sounds like we have the makings of a fun gathering around the camp fire. Complete with lies, bold talk, and little to show for any of it!

That's my kind of party.

Nice shot Melissa, that's where my wife grew up.

There is nothing like spewing slander in the shade a safe distance from any actual climbing. Can't wait.

Maybe we can get TT to come by and tell us how much we suck ;-)

Good times!

detachment from and disregard of everything transpired,
is my penultimate strength.

a close second is my complete surrender to everything that might be.

you see,
this existence is really quite easy.

Manuel Calderon and myself. The last time we saw each other until this afternoon was in 1967 after graduating boot camp at USNTC/San Diego. We went to the airport and took off for SF and then flew to Merced, too. We were Seamen Apprenticed and still burr-headed.

Edit: Yesterday afternoon.

We have a really nice little farmers market here in Josh every saturday morning. It used to be in Yucca, but the brainless wonders that run the town started giving them a hard time about porta potties etc. So, they lost it, and it moved down here. Their loss. Our gain!!!

Such an awesome thread, Robert.

There is always something good. The world whirls on through the universe in spite of us.

Rainbow's keep bowin' (this one evidently was bestowing it's blessing on a dumpster) :).

Flowers keep blooming

Wondrous beasts roam the earth

Mountains stand. Clouds remain beautiful.

The sun rises and sets and beauty still abounds.

And the next stop is here, right across the road from the hang!
There's good things in here out of the wind: new friends, beer, Monday Night Football, and stories.
Always look on the bright side of life.
