Just don't be a dick about it.
i don't agree that shame is a healthy motivator.
Then we're in agreement.

Love the cartoon....funny thing that you didn't see many fat kids back in the 50's when I was a kid. We were out all day playing baseball and basketball or buliding tree forts...not a gameboy in the neighborhood.

Sorta good lookin', though.
Or is it no longer allowed to say that? Am I insulting you as a woman (or as a "guy" as t.r. calls you) if I say you are good looking? Will I be pilloried and suffer an onslaught of rotten fruit and vegetables?
And speaking of taboo words, I just found out this morning that it is no longer acceptable to say "mental retardation." Instead we now have to say some other words. Which is pretty strange given that the new words seem to mean nothing more nor less than "mental retardation."
What am I missing here? The guy on the surfboard was fat. Not a little on the heavy side, or a bit hefty, or chunky. But fat. Big deal. If Shaquille Oneal walks into the room am I now expected to pretend he's not tall?
Insulting language is one issue. It pisses me off when people talk about something being "way homo." But "fat?" How the hell does saying that guy was fat get translated as an insult?

Shaq isn't tall. He is height advantaged, though on airplanes it is a disadvantage.

The Big Dood can shred, but we all know the issue of physical morality is a real one, that we never applaud or teach our kids that undisciplined appetites are the best ones. And when we get a little chub on, we intuitively know it's time to take our health and our lives seriously, to practice self-denial and get our thin back on. There's nothing noble about bashing fattys, but celebrating the porcine is New Age rot on par with condoning gas guzzling cars that get two miles a gallon.
Everyone has a right for what they need. But the old saw that he has a "genetic" or some problem with his "glands" has long been put to rest. It is physically impossible for a person to reduce their calories, exercise to the extent that they can, and still still be big as a haystack. Food addiction is a real problem, that's why there are programs for obesity.

Very good footage of crazy Southern California Locals.
For the original post.
Big dude can kill it for being plus size. Good to see people having fun in the lineup shaking what they got. Negative points on burning someone on a nice wave but we're all guilty at one time or another right. Very cool. Thanks for the video.
