Ron,
I guess I just don't have your sense of humor, calling me a flusher AGAIN!? O.k ron, I guess that shows how "classy" and professional you are and you think I'm not classy, ok then. I guess I don't understand internet forum humor, etc. I mean you no offense. Sorry I took offense to your cripples comment, I guess it was a joke or "classy" comment that I didn't get. I really gotta go meet a client now. I wish you well Ron.
Cheers,
Zeke

Zeke,
the term four flusher comes from poker and has nothing to do with alcohol.
Hey, why don't you delete that post like the others?

Regarding the "cripples pretending to be veterans" comment.
I thought that it was very en current because of the story in the news last week about people posing as phony Gulf War and Afghanistan vets, and how a General said that while he found the practice reprehensible it was still free speech which is what he fought to protect.
My guess is that the reference not only flew right by Zeke but perhaps a few others as well.
Sheesh.
Fuggin intardnet.

Hi Zeke.
When a senior member of your organization publicly maligns a very effective climber advocacy group (the CCC) and makes false claims about their own certification, it is a big deal. I was trying to get some clarification on how the PCGI dealt with this extremely objectionable behavior from one of its board members. I think that your lack of a substantive response explains how the PCGI addressed the situation. The petulant manner in which you dismissed my inquiry speaks volumes about the PCGI's professionalism.

Nah, ncrock was on topic, but I love that marmot shot.
Well, he didn't do it publicly, but Zeke's fourth email to me had a whole different tone.
So this thread can either die or stand as a testament against Turret's style snap posting/deleting.

Ron A, forget those bozos on the street.
Being rude is one thing.
Being Ron A, quite another.
The outward trappings, man. They didn't get to know you.
They need to harden the f*#k up, and so do certain guides.
It's called "Moleskin for Idiots" and is not FDA-approved, not by a long chalk.
Any guide who proposes his client use chalk, forfeit the certificate immediately. Find a toothbrush and clean up a route, minimum corporal punishment.
No emoticons, I am serious as I can get.
Any guide caught praying, immediate refund to client.

NC rock climber,
I'm leaving the shop right now with guided clients. If you wish to know the outcome of the issue you speak of, I suggest emailing PCGI directly (I'm sure PCGI would divulge info if they feel it is appropriate to do so) I am not at liberty to discuss such detailed matters on any internet forum. If I did I'm sure PCGI would take action against me as well.
Cheers,
Zeke Federman

ncrockclimber,
I do know that the PCGI program director zach schneider had contact with the president or director of the nc coalition over the issue and I believe the dialog was good between both orgs.

things do happen fast. zeke doesn't seem to have deleted the testimonial about me yet, but he dumped three new letters on top of it that weren't there this morning. i'm sure they've just been sitting on his desk for weeks, leaning against a bottle of perrier.

I've met Ron and can tell you for sure he's a whackjob who, even as an teen, was banned from all lands east of the Hudson River for just this kind of obnoxious and rude behavior and trust me, it isn't easy pissing off Manhattan all by yourself. Also, I tried to talking with him once, but half that time he was waving a very sharp knife in my face - scary as hell I tell you.
And guns, let's not even talk about the guns - he makes your average Tea Partier seem like PeeWee Herman. I'd personally would give him a wide, wide berth if I were you, like at least a couple states - more if he's drunk.
