The superb quality of the photos posted here just knock my socks off. While dangling on a group of threads you climbers manage to take museum quality photographs...thank you all for sharing your epic adventures, joyous accomplishments, tragedies, and skins and splints, high living creatures, and giving us the low down on climbing high.

Continue to climb, continue to take those photographs ... be well and be blessed.

Thanks bud!!

Justin i just use photoshop but any program where you can duplicate the layer will do. Just desaturate the copy and erase to reveal colour! I haven't done any prints of this series but I should. I was thinking of getting my site together this winter and trying to sell some prints... Would you be interested?

Yeah man I would be interested. I have a few 18x24 climbing photos that I've printed and would definitely like to add to my collection. I guess I need to buy photoshop again.

Big Mike, the real advantage of this technique is how you make Squamish look like Yosemite. Having the rock be in black and white hides the green tinge of the incipient moss and algae at Squish. Great thread and images ya'll, thanks!

Off White- you are so on the money! ;) it can be a bit green out here on less travelled stuff for sure. If it doesn't get climbed around here it just fades back into the moss.

Thanks Dwain! Super cool edits!!
