I've always considered it practice for real climbing, I'm also not very good at it.

Yes, all climbing is boring. Please abandon your gear and stop going to Yosemite, which btw, I hear is really boring too.
Hearing it referred to as pebble wrestling for the first time, not boring.

No, climbing is never boring. Bouldering is climbing. Me & a few friends did 100 boulder problems last Sunday & I was way more trashed than after 2 laps on the chief. Bouldering is essentially a crux on a route. What is more boring: climbing a bunch of so so rambling up to a crux, or just walking right up to a crux on the ground with no rope or belayer and climbing it.
Belaying 1/2 the time, every single time you go climb is boring.
People who don't boulder are boring.
Mix it up a bit, do everything. Then things you don't know about won't look so boring.
That sin problem doesn't look boring, just contrived. That guy could do with more slab climbing in his life too. He probably thinks trad climbing is boring.
My shoulder looks dislocated in that photo, just flailing. cool photo Joey.

Wow Dirt Cloud... That spotter was f*cking ballsy. I wouldn't want anyone spotting me after 20+ feet.

yeah, I don't think I would have stayed there. Can't tell, but that spotter may have saved the climbers life by having him land on top of him instead of hitting those jagged looking rocks. Probably got jacked up good though. looked nasty. That whole video has some gnarly looking mishaps.

I climbed one of the classic west face bulge routes on Tahquitz Saturday...then went to the gym for bouldering on Sunday to get some actual pulling in.
I love bouldering. Way, way more than sport climbing or aid climbing (not as much as crack climbing, but I probably actually do more bouldering than crack).
